Spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, with a balcony that sits directly on the sand. You couldn’t get any closer to the ocean without being in the water.
The bedrooms are nicely sized and comfortably appointed, the organic mattresses topped with freshly laundered linens, cleaned just prior to your arrival. The master bedroom has a king mattress and an en-suite bathroom; the second bedroom has a queen mattress and shares the hall bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and if you're into organics, included is a juicer and a Vitamix. Please feel free to use our spices for your cooking needs; groceries can be purchased just up the way at the corner market.
You are within walking distance to dozens of cafes and restaurants and to the boardwalk. It is a 50-minute train ride into New York City, and cabs will pick you up at the door.
What you can expect: It is my aim to provide guests five-star amenities. The same touches that I appreciate when I travel: lodging located in a gorgeous setting, cleanliness, quality linens and towels, comfortable mattresses and high speed internet.

Long Beach Rental Agreement
First, please allow me to apologize for the tone of this Rental Agreement and Cancellation Policy, as it is much harsher than I want to be toward my guests, most of whom are BEYOND fabulous!
That said, every year or so, we do get that one dishonorable person, no matter how well I've vetted, so I am just trying to be clear with expectations on the front end.
I can only accept reservation requests from guests who are serene by nature: people who are looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat by the ocean and will respect our neighbors.
If you decide to stay, there are conditions of the rental that you'll want to be comfortable with before reserving the property:
a. No parties: although our home is private, it is but one unit in a multi-unit building and I must maintain a calm, quiet atmosphere for my neighbors. Please know there can be no guests on the premises who are not lodgers, no parties, receptions, loud music, television or footsteps, no outdoor sitting after 11pm, and that quiet hours are in effect from 11pm-9am. Of course, normal family noises are to be expected;
b. Liability: our home is privately owned. The host and owner are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises, nor are they responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of guests;
c. The EXACT address of the property is forthcoming in my confirmation email, and that address supersedes all others;
d. Access: sometimes we may need to come by to retrieve clothing, put up linens, or allow workers in to maintain the property. Of course, we would make every attempt to notify you first. We try to schedule access for when guests are not present, but sometimes that is not always possible. I will contact you if I need to come inside. However, if we need immediate access and you are not reachable, we will let ourselves in;
e. Please do not ask our neighbors for assistance of any kind. They live in the building, so naturally, they are watchful. However, if you keep to yourselves and follow the conditions of the rental, all will be well;
f. We adore children (I'm a former midwife). However, if your child is crying in the middle of the night, please do not allow them to "cry it out.” Prolonged crying is not considered normal family noises. Also, please know that this is a higher end building with mostly elderly residents and they don't hesitate to complain when children are just being children. If your children are loud in voice and walk, this unit might not be a good fit;
g. Building amenities: I am so sorry, but there are no building facilities available for guest use, including: the pool, laundry room, locker room, rec room, garage, lobby, etc. Only our specific unit and balcony is available for guests;
h. To vet fully, I need a link to one of your social media accounts. You will need to be crafty in providing that information as the vacation rental site blocks web addresses. Please email your name, job title and the state where you reside, making sure that everything corresponds to the account that you're providing so that I can find you.
Unfortunately, not abiding the conditions is cause for immediate removal, with no monies refunded.
