Hi! We're Chris & Ericka - We're native New Orleanians and we just finished a major renovation to our Victorian double shotgun.
Chris- Saints fan. LSU fan. Sports fan. Enough said. I grew up in New Orleans east, and I met my wife in high school. My wife and I are both young business professionals (I'm in finance, and she's an attorney). We have one son/superhero; he's the best. My idea of a perfect Sunday - cooking with Ericka and having family and friends over for the game while my son cheers on the home team along with me.
Ericka- We've been together since high school (crazy , I know). Our little superhero is a toddler and quite the character. Our Victorian shotgun double was restored by my dad and the company he co-owns with his brother - Golden Hammer Construction Co. While researching the house, I discovered that it's situated on property that was the subject of the longest running legal battle in U.S. history. (See Myra Clark Gaines). My perfect Sunday - biking with my family to one of our favorite brunch spots, hitting up the playground, followed by a lazy afternoon in bed, and finally going to my grandmother's house for a big family dinner.
We hope you will let us host your next stay in this beautiful city.
