Misty Lake Retreat is a place I love to spend my summers at since I was a little girl. The heirloom pieces in the house, the perennials in the garden and the daily routine remind me of my grandmother who cherished the place since 1931. I love to cook on the old wood driven stove, observe the loons and swans, take saunas and jump into the clean lake. Picking berries and mushrooms just beyond the garden makes baking and cooking all the more fun.
