This space was originally a carriage house, attached to the main house which was built in 1911. The original owner, William M. Roach, once served as President of Rowe & Roach Wholesale Granite Company. This is the only "all stone" house in historic College Hill.
Disponible para huéspedes
Guests have access to kitchen in the main house, which is immediately adjacent to the upstairs entrance to carriage house. The rear patio - just outside your door - is shaded almost the entire year, and is available to guests.

We (Dede and Wayne) lived in the metro Atlanta area for 28 years (wayne) and 38 years (Dede) respectively. We've recently (July 2015) moved to Greensboro, North Carolina. Even though our kitty, Beatrice, is pictured in our profile she is no longer with us.
We found a GREAT home in one of Greensboro's Historic Districts - College Hill, ...just a few minutes walk will get you to the campus of UNCG and the restaurants along Tate Street, to Greensboro College, South Elm Street/downtown, 20 minutes walk to Greensboro's minor league baseball stadium.
We travel to Europe "almost" every summer, and thus might be able to provide an entire 2-bedroom, 3-1/2 bath home for several consecutive weeks during June and/or July. From August to May, we could offer one bedroom with private bath, shared use of kitchen and front porch to guests.
We love meeting/sharing travel experiences with guests, but you can have solid privacy if that would be your preference.
we love old movies, all sorts of fiction and non-fiction books, an extraordinarily wide variety of music...
Dede's Life Motto is something like: "It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice." a thought that we think was originally offered by John Cassis, borrowed by a whole bunch of people like Roger Federer.
wayne made his motto up: "As you walk through Life, try to step on as few toes as possible, but when you do - as is inevitable, stop and say 'i'm sorry'. "
