The apartment is very charming with great touches of decor and paint schemes. It came well equipped with all the cooking necessities and ample seating with a table and chairs, alongside 2 sofa's . The large windows allow ample light in when open (with entertainment from when seagulls land and easy to tell if you need to grab some sun cream) and block out the light and sound of seagulls when closed. The seagulls are not really an issue, it is an active fishing village so they add to the charm, just be careful they dont end up eating your lunch for you :)
The location, be wary of using the satnav as it can bring you into the back of Looe (onto Barbican Road off the B253, stay on the B253!) with very windy and narrow, makes for some "fun" driving but there other roads are much more accessible.
Once there it is fantastic for a base in Looe, a bit dangerous (URL HIDDEN) there is a Coop and 2 bakers within 30 seconds of the front door, great for breakfest with fresh goods. The location gives many options from having a wander around exploring the shops of Looe, to the beach, or 2 extensive walking trails in opposite directions - it does get hilly but there are plenty of benches to admire the breath taking views. It is also very accessible by car to other areas of Cornwall such as St Ives or Newquay for a day out at the beach.
Once back at the house you can feel like a local fisherman and take to the river with crabbing, provides entertainment for hours.
The hosts are very hospitable in responding to any questions but you can see they have shown their passion in the apartment.
