o Secure online credit card payment available via PPI/PayPros through us directly. The same folk(URL HIDDEN)once recommended before they started chasing AirBnB's tail and playing banker. No sign-up or membership required.
o If more than 2 guests, please contact us via email to be sure you can fit your group comfortably (use the "Contact Host" option under the "Your Host" section in the upper right-hand corner, and realize you'll immediately receive an auto-reply, seemingly from us, saying you're approved to book, before we'll be able to reply... everything we send will begin with "Aloha...", anything else is an auto-reply from AirBnB).
o I've restricted AirBnB guests to two weeks, as the cleaning deposit changes for a greater than two week stay, and they have no way to effect that in their pricing. Contact me (see previous paragraph) for longer stays.
o I've also jacked-up the price for AirBnB guests, as they provide no way to specify tax. Again, contact me for further explanation.

Ho'ai bay, right off the lanai, is known as some of the best snorkeling on Kauai. Snorkel with the turtles and the colorful tropical fish, just steps away from the lanai (watch the video above, snorkeling with the turtles off the condo).

From the lanai you can enjoy the view across to the Ha'upu mountain range, or the sunrise on the bay, or looking out onto the ocean, watching the waves, sailing ships, dolphins jumping, or whales breaching in the distance, and the near constant stream of turtles that come within 20' of your feet to the edge of the bay to feed... all relaxing from your lounge on the lanai, sipping your morning coffee.

The lanai faces East, so the lanai is shaded from the afternoon sun, and the ocean trade winds from the East keep the condo nice and cool year round.

We're on the first floor, so you're not confined to an upper floor where the elevator or stairs (and a walk through the parking lot) are necessary to get to the beach. From our lanai, you can spread-out onto the immaculately kept lawn and enjoy unconfined beach access.

Kuhio Shores 106 provides the following amenities:

We will rent less than one week, usually when there's a gap in the calendar of less than a week.

When staying more than a week, note that you need not stay a multiple of 7 days. I.e. 8 days is charged for a week plus 1/7th of the weekly charge.

- Check-in time is 3PM and Check Out Time is 10:00 AM. Please remove your shoes/sandals -- Hawaiian style -- upon entering the condo. It’s a good idea to leave a pair of sandals at both ends of the condo. Thank you for NOT smoking inside or around the condo. There is a smoking bench located on the west end of the parking lot (inside the oval), towards the barbecues. Spray-on sunscreens leave a residue that is difficult to clean and can damage surfaces, especially on the etched glass in the bathroom. Please apply all spray-on sunscreens outside. Please turn off all lights and fans when you leave he condo. All energy in Kaua'i is imported. Lock all doors (lanai and entry) and close all windows whenever you leave the condo. In the tropics, it’s important to empty the trash often to not attract insects. Dumpsters are located in the far corner of the parking lot. When returning sand-covered from the beach or red-mud-covered from the trails, use the showers or foot showers in the parking lot (a shower is located off the parking lot, to the right of the main lobby, between the lobby and the pump house... foot showers are located in various places along the perimeter of the parking lot along the building). Using these will keep from clogging the shower drain. Kuhio Shores Association House Rules The Board of Directors thanks you for reading these rules and enlists your cooperation to make yours a very pleasant stay. 1. GUEST AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION – Occupants of units must register at the desk in the main lobby. All vehicles must have parking permits which may be obtained at the lobby office or from any employee if not already provided. Each unit is restricted to one parking space. Such spaces are not assigned but all vehicles must be registered and in operating condition. The speed limit in the parking lot is 5 MPH. 2. SMOKING REGULATIONS – Smoking tobacco or other substances is prohibited at Kuhio Shores in the common elements, limited common elements and apartments. Smoking is permitted in a single designated smoking area on the west end of the central median in the parking lot. 3. NOISE – All noise from whatever source must be curtailed, as bedrooms are located next to the passageways. Strict quiet hours must be observed between 10:00 PM and 7:30 AM daily. The Maintenance Manager or the Security Officer will request that undue noise be abated. 4. CHILDREN - Children are prohibited from running or creating loud noise on Kuhio Shores property. Children are not to play in the passageways, stairways, elevators and, for their own safety, in the parking lot. Parents are responsible for maintaining the safety of their children. The use of skateboards, scooters, roller blades and roller skates are strictly prohibited on Kuhio Shores property. 5. LANAIS – No garments, rugs, towels or other objects may be hung on lanai railings or other places visible from any outside areas. Dirt, debris or other objects must not be shaken or thrown over lanai or walkway railings. 6. GARBAGE - The sink garbage disposal is for soft waste only, not rinds, peels, etc. Other garbage and trash must be placed in plastic bags, tied and placed in the trash dumpsters located in the NW corner of the parking lot. Under no circumstances shall garbage and trash be placed in the passageways, laundry rooms or any place other than the dumpsters. Please break down all cartons prior to placing in the dumpsters. 7. FURNISHINGS – All items and furnishings belonging in a particular unit must not be altered, removed or taken to other locations as each unit is privately owned. 8. PASSAGEWAYS AND STAIRWELLS – These areas must be kept clear at all times. Fire regulations strictly prohibit storage of any item whatsoever in passageways or under the stairwells. Sand and dirt must not be swept over the edge of walkways. 9. DAMAGE – Each owner or tenant shall be held personally responsible for any damage or destruction to any common or limited common element caused by themselves, relatives, children, guests, or any other occupant. 10. PETS /BIRDS – No pets and/or animals are allowed at Kuhio Shores. For health and sanitary reasons, feeding of birds is strictly prohibited. . 11. BARBECUES – Barbecue facilities are provided in the West end of the center median in the parking lot. Individual barbecues of any sort are prohibited from use anywhere on Kuhio Shores property, including lanais, lawns and other outside areas. Violation of this rule will be dealt with accordingly and may be cause for eviction. 12. SEWER SYSTEM – Kuhio Shores has a private sewer system. Therefore, caution must be exercised to prevent the flushing of items which may clog the pumps and thereby render the system out of commission. 13. FIREWORKS – Fireworks in any form are not permitted anywhere on Kuhio Shores property. 14. DELIVERIES – Neither the Board of Directors nor any of its employees or agents is responsible for any items delivered to Kuhio Shores and left in the lobby, halls or other areas of the building.
