Moonlight Retreat is perched above the famous Shotover River and on Moonlight Track, privately set on 7 acres in the exclusive Arthur’s Point suburb.
Moonlight Retreat is a luxurious holiday home just 7 minutes’ drive from central Queenstown and less than 15 minutes to the Coronet Peak Mountain ski resort.
Close enough to Queenstown to enjoy all the action, but far enough away for absolute privacy and to enjoy the spectacular mountain and river views.

The fantastic space allows you to relax unwind and enjoy a drink by the fire, overlooking the river and surrounding mountains (during winter months often with snow falling outside) is truly a dream come true. Breathtaking views of the Shotover River and stunning Wakatipu countryside, this modern home offers’ a spacious open plan living area.

The cosy lounge area comprises a stunning fireplace, built of local Kingston stone, polished hard wood floors throughout and great surround sound hifi system. The home includes ample heating with two large efficient heat pumps and under floor heating in the two bathrooms. The large state of the art kitchen is fitted with everything you need, including two ovens, a spacious granite workbench including 6 burner gas hob and excellent breakfast bar/dining space.

Elegant, warm and spacious, the sun bathed living area flows onto a spacious outdoor area, featuring an outdoor hot tub – access is also available direct from the master bedroom ensuite to the spa pool.

The master bedroom suite is located off the main living area and features a large picture window inset with a deep bathtub close to the master bed, creating a comfortable and romantic environment. The master suite also includes an ensuite with a double shower, walk in robe, TV and surround sound.

The upper level has a well appointed house bathroom.

The second guest bedroom located downstairs offers a queen bed, separate ensuite bathroom, TV and surround sound.

The lower level includes a large office space with a sofa bed (double bed pull out) and separate laundry room (washing machine, No dryer).

This unique modern holiday home situated in a highly desirable and private Arthurs Point location has been architecturally designed with exceptional furnishings throughout. This luxury retreat, a stones’ throw away from the famous Shotover Jet Boat is just seven minutes’ drive from central Queenstown and less than fifteen minutes’ drive to the Coronet Peak ski field. Only a short drive along the back road to Arrowtown, numerous surrounding ski fields, hiking and biking trails, bungee jumping, canyon swing and the Southern Lakes world-famous wineries and golf courses.

Terms and Conditions
As a Moonlight Retreat guest you hereby agree to the following;
Parties are not to be hosted in the Moonlight Retreat. Any parties will result in eviction and forfeiture of all bond paid. - $300.00 Bond.
Chattels are not to be removed from the property.
The number of occupants must not exceed the number agreed to with the agent at the time of booking.
You shall be held accountable for any repairs or reimbursement costs associated with damage caused to the property/chattels during your stay. Any damages or breakages must be reported to the property manager immediately.
Be respectful of neighboring properties.
Moonlight Retreat is strictly Smoke-free inside and any person smoking outside must dispose of cigarette butts in the rubbish – we will not tolerate butts being flicked into the garden.
There is a Spa Pool on the property, please ensure it is clean and in its original state, covered and Turned OFF - After Use. NO GLASS is to be used in or around the Spa Pool Area.
There is a barbecue at the property, please ensure it is clean and in its original state after use.
Please keep premises clean at all times.
The Property Agent has the right to access the property at any time, especially if a complaint is lodged. Our Property Manager will give a verbal warning prior to an inspection.

Cleaning
What you are expected to do:
Wash, dry dishes and put away (if time is short please ensure dishwasher is loaded and wash cycle started).
Return all furniture to its original position.
Dispose of rubbish/place in the bins provided (in the round black lidded rubbish bin and recyclables in the blue lidded bin, both located next to garage door), ready for collection.

What you are NOT expected to do:
Remove sheets and pillow slips.
Clean the bathrooms.
Wash linen.
Vacuum/mop the floor.
The guest agrees to a deduction of any costs related to the following from the bond:
Expenses incurred for repairs to damages of the property caused by the guest.

The budgeted cleaning time for this property is 4 hours. The guest agrees to pay for any cleaning costs above and beyond the budgeted cleaning time due to the property not being left in the same condition as it was on arrival.

Full replacement costs for any chattels taken or misplaced by guests.
Spa Pool - $100 will be deducted from your bond for any extra cleaning or necessary draining of the pool. $100 will also be deducted from the bond for any damage to the Spa or the Spa Pool.
BBQ - $65 will be deducted from your bond if the BBQ is left dirty or damaged.
Kitchen Stove and Oven - $65 will be deducted from your bond if excess cleaning is required for the stove.
Excess garbage removal - $65 will be charged for excess rubbish removal.

Moonlight Retreat provides the property with two rubbish bins a non-recyclable and recyclable – excess is considered more than these two bins.
The Recycling Centre is located at 118 Glenda Drive, Frankton. .
Recycling (blue lidded bin) - $25 will be charged if incorrect refuse is placed in the recycling bin.
Rubbish Dump/Disposal Centre is located at 110 Glenda Drive, Frankton
Recycle all plastic, glass, clean paper (no food scraps i.e takeaway containers/pizza boxes).
Do not put plastic bags in the recycling bin.
Smokers - Smoking is permitted OUTSIDE only.
You will be charged $65 if cleaners at Moonlight Retreat are required to remove any cigarette butts from the grounds.
Excess linen clean - $100 or replacement cost. If any item is stained/soiled or requires additional cleaning, the amount will be deducted from your bond. If blankets or duvets are stained or soiled you will be charged for dry-cleaning costs.
You will be charged full replacement cost for lost keys.

Amazing place to relax and take in the scenery of Queenstown. The house is always warm, the views are incredible and the hot tub at the end of a long ski day topped it all off for us. Definitely will be back!

Moonlight Retreat is just totally epic! Everything was just perfect. Amazing location, amazing setting, private, totally clean & has the most rad views around. Don't hesitate at staying with Chelsie's place, we didn't want to go home!!

We had wonderful, very happy winter holiday at Chelsie's place with our three teenage children. Loved the location. The view from the house is fabulous and the winter sun streams in all day! We all enjoyed jumping into the spa after a day on the ski slopes. Very easy access to Coronet Peak. Our walk to Queenstown via the Moonlight track was also very memorable. Thanks
