Welcome to Tin Canyon Farm.
You’ll be staying in a spacious, well-lit 2nd-floor guest house on a small farm with views of the San Juan Mountains, a natural spring, a seasonal creek, and LOTS of trails within walking distance. It’s a short drive to the resorts and less than 20 minutes from the deepest hot springs in the world. You're sure to enjoy the peaceful mountain valley setting. Horses welcome but space is limited so please inquire in advance if you’re bringing horses.
Below are some general, important house rules. For further info and a list of resources, please check out our house rules and guidebook that will be available to you in the guest house:
Minimum 2 night stay.
This is a residential, rural wildlife area so please be mindful of noise: quiet time is between 9pm-8am.
This is our family farm so please be respectful of other people and animals on the property (domestic or wild).
Check-in is after 3pm and check-out must be by noon. No check-in after 10PM. Need a little extra time? Just check with us first.
No packages shall be mailed to our home.
Please clean up and pick up after yourself and your pets.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while on the property unless in designated areas.
We expect that the front gate be kept closed at all times to keep our animals in and the local sheep herb out; we are sure you don't want to engage in any sheep wrangling while you're here.
We do not allow smoking, loud music/noise, and open flames.
Please do not dispose of any trash other than in the receptacles provided. On your last day, please bring your tied trash bags down to the bottom of the stairs so we can dispose of properly. Bears are a possibility, so we discourage you from keeping any food or food-smelling items (like chapstick) in your cars.
Please do not flush anything but the toilet paper we provide down the toilets (please place sanitary napkins, wet-wipes, cotton-balls, etc. in the sanitary bin next to the toilet).
Although we thoroughly clean between guests, we expect that on the last day of your stay the kitchen is wiped down and any dishes used are cleaned and put away. Dirty towels shall be placed in the provided hamper, wet washcloths in the tub. Any spills or damage shall be reported immediately; we understand mistakes happen, but we would like to assist you with cleanup if necessary.
But other than that, just have a great time and enjoy your stay in Pagosa Springs!
