Hello. I have spent my whole life on the Great Lakes between Detroit and Duluth. I enjoy traveling, which landed me a job in Seattle, designing a Coffee Shop in the U district. My friend gave me the opportunity to train as a barista and work at the shop I had a hand in creating after they opened, this sparked my love for all things Coffee, including the culture and the Farmer's that grew crops for sustainable environments. I went back to finish college in Minneapolis, getting my degree in Interior Design. In 2009 I moved back to Duluth to pursue a career in the Coffee Industry in the hopes of opening up my own coffee shop one day. My dream came true in December of 2012, when my mom Penny and I purchased the Mocha Moose Coffee Cafe. We love the beauty and peaceful nature of the North Shore, the shop and the people we serve. I enjoy having a flexible family business where I can cater to the needs of the community and rent out a beautiful apartment that I called home for the first 4 years we owned this shop. Penny and I hope you enjoy this space the shop and the North Shore as much as we do.
