We sincerely apologize that you did not have a great experience. We strive to provide each guest with quality accommodations and quality services. Our recent reviews and ratings on this listing are a testament to the quality of the property. We apologize for the length of our response but feel that it is necessary to respond to each claim. We do not appreciate your threatening manner to write a negative review if we did not oblige to give you a refund. We will not be bullied into a refund, especially when your claims are unfair and inaccurate. #1 Prior to your booking, you were made aware of the pool heater’s limitations if adverse weather conditions were to arise during your stay. Due to the unpredictability of weather, we cannot guarantee water temperature. This is listed under “House Rules” on our listing’s page #2 At the time of your booking, you did not request or inquire about pool heating. #3 You only requested pool heating a few days prior to your arrival. #4 During your stay adverse weather conditions arose, we had a cold front that dropped the low to the 30’s which is unusually for Arizona. The water cannot maintain its heat when the weather gets that cold, as disclosed on our listing page and to you prior to your booking. A pool is not a small body of water like a hot tub. #5 We immediately sent out our pool care person when you informed us that the water was not reaching your desired temperature. You complimented us on our speedy efforts. The pool care person noted that the heater was working and in great condition, he recommended we purchase a pool cover to help with water heat loss when the pool is not in use. This was purchased and installed quickly, however, you did not like how the pool cover looked and you wanted it off. Therefore, the water would lose its heat when not in use. #6 We have no idea what you are referring to regarding the pool care person building a “contraption” around the pool heater. This is simply inaccurate. The pool heater is less than a year old and it is not supposed to be wrapped in anything, it needs air flow for the vent fan to work. #7 All the dining utensils, bakeware, pots and pans, are less than a year old. The serving utensils are NOT plastic. The kitchen DOES have a colander, bbq utensils, and corkscrews. The kitchen sink has a scrubber that can easily be cleaned and sanitized vs a sponge. If you had trouble finding the colander and BBQ utensils or corkscrews we wish you would have informed us. #8 We issued you a $250 refund as a courtesy. I strongly caution all future hosts about doing business with you.
