Warm sunny stone cottage located in leafy Rondebosch. Originally a garrison for the British Soldiers in the Boer war; now an open plan quirky home for my family; and a cat called Princess. The cottage is lovingly furnished with a gorgeous garden & outdoor entertainment area.
A renovated historic four bedroom cottage situated in the leafy suburb of Rondebosch. A peaceful and safe Cape Town neighbourhood with a handful of good restaurants only a five minute walk away. Centrally located; the cottage is within walking distance of Newlands cricket and Rugby grounds; and Rondebosch & Newlands Train Stations.
Most of our guests have rented vehicles, but it is very easy to navigate the city other ways. The Newlands and Rondebosch train stations are a five minute walk, with trains running into the City Centre and down the Southern Peninsula as far as Simons Town.

I've lived in Cape Town for 8 years, 6 of them in my gem of a cottage. The city makes for a beautiful and diverse home; from climbing a mountain and drinking coffee while the sun rises over the sea to a glittery burlesque show in a steampunk coffee saloon - Cape Town is your very diverse oyster!
I work as a business analyst for a corporate giant, in between playing taxi to my children and regularly cooking up feasts for friends. The rest of my life is a multi-faceted twinkle of reading, cooking, yoga, burlesque, talking, writing, reading and hiking; and on good days, I sit on my yoga mat and manage to quieten my frenetic mind into a moment of delicious stillness.
