My home in Hanoi is one that is so close to being Zen that this town is famous for, while that chaotic mess is only few mins away. I often find myself wander around for a cafe on the other side of the street Cong Cafe or the more simple F Food. In the weekend, group of friends would hit Tadioto or Ozu, or the opposite villa where they serve pretty good wine. Then we would all walk to Sword Lake to Old Quarter, all just mins away.
The studio is a place I chill when coming back to Hanoi. The place is simple, but will be perfect for a couple, or a max group of 4 people, providing that you can arrange the sleeping rights.
It is on the 4th floor of a communist era apartment building. Typical part of Hanoian culture. Fear not, the stairs are built with elders in mind. It is super easy breezy to walk upstair. In fact, you will see the next door lady up and down every day with her Chihuahua.
The surrounding streets are littered with bars, cafes, restaurants in all levels. So close to Hanoi Opera House, Metropole Hotel, American Ambassador's Residence, Casa Italie, this street and the area around including Tong Dan and Ly Dao Thanh is where artists and expats as well as locals frequents.
There are Vietnam National Museum of History, Vietnam Museum of Revolution literally just behind the complex.
Disponible para huéspedes
The entire place is yours to use. Just refrain from getting too drunk and trashing the place. There are many pieces that I collect around, and couldn't just be bought easily.
The whole building is sort of fenced. There are 3 street gates surrounding the place. They will all be locked after 11PM. You have the key to access via the main gate. :D Just remember to lock it afterward.

I know a little here, a little there. You can probably hit me with questions.
Filmmaker, was in Helsinki for 8 years, now based in Saigon.
I got bored of traveling. All I wish to do is to dip my head into locals living, to live in places that I am fortunate enough to come. All of the houses are there for a reason. Eat the same spots with neighbors, rowing at night, ride the bike across town, get that Tra Da from the lady in that corner, go check the places and I will tell you something off the menu. Feel the vibe!
