Enjoy exclusive use of this peaceful, beautifully restored Edwardian house, the birthplace of the poet Dylan Thomas. It can sleep 1 to 7 people across the 4 bedrooms. Swansea centre is 1 miles away and the start of the Gower Beaches 5 miles away.
The rental is for 2 people for exclusive use of the house - additional visitors (up to a total of 7) can be accommodated at an additional charge
Apart from Dylan’s bedroom, which has been described as the first World Literary Heritage Site in Wales, there are 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedded room. On the ground floor are 3 reception rooms and a kitchen. There is a garden to the rear of the house.

There is on street parking outside the property. There are three steps leading to the front door. Please ask about suitability for visitors with disabilities.
Cwmdonkin Park is a short walk away. A guided house tour is undertaken on arrival and experienced guides are available for tours of 'Dylan Thomas Country.' in Swansea, Gower and further afield to West Wales

Our guests have use of all the house including the back garden (described by Dylan as "...sufficiently large for wash-house, clothes line, deck-chair, and three sparrows...") and is featured in his story Patricia, Edith and Arnold
We only book the house of to one party to give our guests ezxclusive access to enjoy the unique features that the Birthplace offers

As befits an Edwardian house there is no television or radio but plenty of books and games. Ask nicely and we'll give you the password for the wifi!
We will leave a welcome pack of local tea, coffee and welsh cakes for your arrival.
