Lavender House is located in the Larch Hills between Salmon Arm and Enderby. The house is located approximately 10 minutes away from the Larch Hills cross country ski trails. The Lavender House is part of Tin poppy Retreat, and can be rented separate or with the other cabins. The Lavender House is perfect for families and groups of friends that enjoy outdoor activities and nature. The 160 ace property has beautiful walking trails through various ecosystems.

The main floor has a beautiful open concept design. The country style Kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking and dining utensils you'd need to pull off delicious meals.
The dining room has stunning views of the Enderby Cliffs, and the Shuswap River below. The dining room and living room are separated by a European style masonry heater, and mid-century modern dining table can seat up to 12 guests.
The living room is vaulted, spacious and cozy at the same time, with lots of comfortable places to lounge.
The screened in porch off of the kitchen has a beautiful rock fireplace and modern three season windows, it's a perfect place for after dinner scotch sipping or early morning book reading. The screened in porch on the other side of the house is set up as sleeping room, and has a comfortable double futon.
The master bedroom on the main floor is located next door to the bathroom, and has a queen size bed.
The spacious vaulted bedroom located in between the main floor downstairs, has 2 double on the bottom, twin on the top bunk beds (sleeps 6)
The recessed room off of the living room has two double futons (sleeps 4)
The bathroom on the main floor has a shower, toilet and large clawfoot tub.
The downs stairs bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink.

We have beautiful hiking/snowshoeing and bush skiing trails here on the property, feel free to explore the trails and look-outs, however the Larch Hills trails systems is only a 10 min drive away.

In the winter we recommend that you have a 4wd vehicle. The Lavender House will have coffee an assortment of teas, salt n pepper, olive oils, basically the staples.
The North Okanagan summers can be hot and dry so we ask that be careful with fire during the summer months. We live close by and have chickens, sheep and horses and dogs, so please keep your pets supervised at all times .The Lavender House runs on solar power, so we ask you especially in the winter to be conservative with power use.
