For a short term stay the house is great, however for long term, it's very necessary to let yourself get used to the house. It does feel scary at first but once you open up, the house does become quite cozy. It is important to note that this is a shared house with very thin walls, so get friendly with the other house mates but also keep in mind of the noise.

Never actually met Soda, but he was always there to communicate with us when we needed anything. The bed broke while I was lying on it and he had it fixed before we came back the next night. He's really a good host. The only thing is, he doesn't actually live there, so keeping the place clean is up to the guests. The bedroom we stayed in was relatively okay, but the common area, especially the kitchen isn't very clean. If that's not a problem however, the location is amazing, and the house itself is really cool. It's extremely convenient to get to the subway, and the area it's in is fun to explore in itself. There's a shopping street a 5 minute walk away that has tons of shops and restaurants. If you're okay with a little dirtiness, you'll love the place.

Was great accommodation as we were on a small budget. It's a small room, but the house's character makes up for it and the neighbourhood is lively and has everything you need. Very close to central toyko and all the sights. Soda's communication and directions were amazing too.

Soda was very friendly and gave great directions to the place! He doesn't actually live at the place, he rents out the rooms in the Airbnb. Our room had a heater which was very necessary, even in April. The shared space (living room, shower room, toilet room) don't have heaters and are very cold and slightly uncomfortable to be in. I think this place would be a lot better in warmer weather. The toilet is older, not the new Japanese style toilet that has many buttons. The shower is very nice with very hot water and good water pressure. A towel is provided for each guest. The room was a little tight in space but we managed with two people. It is a 10 min walk to the closest station and you walk through a very large shopping street with lots of food and small shops! Must take local subway to transfer to JR trains. The 24-72 hour Tokyo subway pass does not work for the last subway to the station and you must pay an additional 130yen.
