Our place is located between Athens and Palestine, Texas. Both cities have great restaurants, antique shopping and outdoor activities. Places like the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, the East Texas Arboretum and Canton Trading Days are all close by. You’ll love the 1960s ranch style house as it has plenty of space to relax for families and groups plus 250 acres to explore. There are also three ponds on the property as well as a ravine.
There is plenty of space to spread out with four bedrooms (a fifth if you count the den with sofa bed). There is also a large kitchen with plenty of cooking equipment and dishes.
There is a large flat-screen TV with access to some local channels and a Blue-Ray DVD player. We also have a selection of old and new DVDs to watch.
The kitchen features a breakfast bar (sitting for seven) and a nearby dining table that can expand to sit eight.
We have bikes (with helmets), outdoor games and fishing rods for guests to use (please, catch and release only)

We are originally from Houston and visited this ranch growing up. It is currently owned by my sibling, mother and I and is our get-a-way from the big city. We love getting outside and enjoying the fresh country air, seeing the wildlife and stars at night.
The ranch has been in the family since the original Price brothers settled in Texas from Ireland. The current home was build by our Uncle Jake, a WWII veteran and member of the famed Merrill's Marauders. The ranch was passed down to us from Uncle Jake and Aunt Evelyn.
