It's difficult to ask for more in Cuba, the place is clean and the family is so caring and welcoming. Breakfast was terrific, and they are very helpful in any way they can. However always remember you are in Cuba, where it's difficult to find even basic stuff.

Great location, walking distance from central plaza and the sea wall. The breakfast was delicious, also nice to chat to other travellers and the hosts around the table. Room was clean and bathroom a generous size. We had a brilliant stay!

This is a very clean , warm , friendly environment in the heart of the city. I HIGHLY recommend this BnB for singles or couples. But not set up well for small children.

Thanks! Well, don't say that to my 3 small children. I really had problems bringing them back to Germany after 4 weeks there... They love our place!

Our stay at the home was great! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The house is situated very close to old Havana and Malecón, about 10 minutes walking distance. Neighborhood is very quiet and super safe to walk at night.

I had such a great stay and would definitely go back! I felt safe, the room was great, there was an air conditioner and the shower had warm water (it was actually better than my shower at a resort in Varadero). The breakfast was delicious and such a nice way to start the day (definitely get the breakfast!)

A great place to stay in Habana! Awesome 1945 building with carefully done decor and, which is most important, with a family-like people. And some surprises too! Thank you!

Born in Havana to a family of musicians, artists and tourists guides, studied Music at the Conservatorio Alejandro G. Caturla and the wellknown Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán. Afterwards I grounded the all female band Havana Open with my mother and we came to Germany. We've been living here in Düsseldorf since then. I also married a musician (what a surprise!) and we have 3 wonderful kids together. Now we're running the Jazzclub Em Pöötzke (Düsseldorf Altstadt) and playing Music all around (now even leading my own Band, Qban Soul). Sports has also been a very important part of my life in the last couple of years, I've been teaching Zumba and Fitness Classes, and my husband is a Tennis-Teacher as well. Further we used to run an Event Agency (Mi Habana Events) bringing the Cuban Spirit to Europe (and beyond!) with genuine "Havana Open Nights" which included a professional Cuban Bartender, a Cuban Torcedora (Cigar twister) and Connoisseur and of course, Music and Dance.
In the meanwhile, our place in Havana has been "working" since 1998, we had already lots of great guests that became good friends. Now, since my parents decided sharing their time beetwen Havana and Düsseldorf, they have plenty of time to take care of our guests. Our 4 homes are open for you, if you want to learn more about Cubans, our Country and Traditions.
Enjoy the journey! It'll be a great experience, for sure!
