Welcome to Seascape Retreat.
The first thing you’ll notice when you enter this stunning home are the sweeping views of Tillamook Head, Ecola State Park and the Tillamook Head Lighthouse. Almost every room in the house offers these dramatic views.
From the front entry hall, you step into a warm and welcoming living room, complete with a gas fireplace, large flat-screen TV and a sound bar. With two inviting couches and two armchairs, you’ll find plenty of room to enjoy the fire and take in those views.
Off to the left of the living room is the generous dining room. Ten dining chairs and two end-armchairs provide plenty of seating to enjoy a leisurely dinner, and if more seating is needed there’s a built-in booth and table just to the side near the kitchen.
Speaking of the kitchen: how to begin to describe this magnificent space. Family and friends will gather around the huge island to offer advice to the cook while snacking on treats and drinking wine. This kitchen offers so much space, the chef of the day can organize several work stations and put people to work! A large refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and a substantial gas cook top/oven will please even a professional chef.
Just next to the kitchen is the sizable mudroom/laundry room. Lots of space to leave outerwear, and it’s easy to bring the beach towels back from the beach and straight into laundry.
On the other side of the main floor is the first of two master bedrooms. This lovely room has a king bed, large flat screen TV, gas fireplace, and a private deck with marvelous views - just the spot to indulge in a little pampering. The attached master bath has two sinks, a glass-wall shower, large soaking tub, and separate toilet room right next to a large walk-in closet.
Heading upstairs your first stop is the second master bedroom at the top of the stairs on the right. This oversized master not only has a king bed, but a charming red twin sleigh bed perfect for a nap or a little one that needs to be near mom and dad. The attached master bath has a spa-like feel with twin sinks, soaking tub, glass wall shower, and toilet. And did we mention the view?
Next up is the perfect spot to watch a game, read a good book, or just grab a little quiet time: The Media Room. Spend time losing yourself in the view – these expansive windows have the best view in the house. But don’t forget to enjoy the other pleasures found in this room: a large flat screen TV, books on the shelves, comfy seating and a chaise lounge aimed right at that view. You may never leave. If you have a larger group and need additional sleeping, the couch here does double duty as a sofa bed.
Back upstairs you will find two identical but separate bedrooms. Both have queen beds, and each one has a built-in twin bed for a great lounging spot or additional sleeping if you have a large group. One bedroom faces the ocean and the second one has forest views. Close by is a spacious hall bathroom done in green and white.
The last stop on the house tour is the game room/hangout room. Just off the mudroom/laundry room is a staircase that leads to the game room, located above the attached garage of the main house. This room is ready for fun with a foosball table, comfy couches, kitchenette, flat screen TV, and an attached bathroom. With four twin beds and a sofa sleeper, this is another room you may never leave.
Now let’s check out the guest house which is just down the driveway. The front door opens to a staircase and at the top is a wonderful oversized great room. With two couches and a flat screen TV, it’s the perfect entertainment spot. Right next to that is a four-chair conversation pit - the ideal place for a glass of wine after a day of beachcombing. Next up is the dining table and chairs, and the kitchen. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, and toaster oven. No regular stove, but everything else is right at your fingertips. The best part of this great room is the windows that run all along the west wall, and the views which rival anything the main house offers (they might even be a little better!)
On the east side of the room is a small hall leading to one bathroom and two bedrooms. The first spacious bedroom has a queen bed, and the second offers a queen bed and a set of bunk beds for larger groups. A sofa sleeper in the living room provides additional sleep space.

Please note that NO EVENTS of any kind are allowed at Seascape Retreat. This is due to County regulations that must be strictly enforced, with NO EXCEPTIONS. We ask that you honor this house rule, and understand that guests will be subject to eviction for noncompliance. The owners of Seascape Retreat appreciate your cooperation in helping them to maintain this beautiful home. Also, please note that pets are NOT allowed at Seascape Retreat.
General Information - Our check in time is 4pm and check out is at 11am. Our office is located at 115 Sunset Blvd. in Cannon Beach. If you are coming from the North on Hwy 101, Sunset Blvd is the second exit into Cannon Beach. If you are coming from the South on Hwy 101, Sunset Blvd is the third exit into Cannon Beach. Our office is on the left hand side of Sunset Blvd, just before Columbia Bank. Our office hours vary during the seasons so give us a call ahead of time to obtain current office hours.
Guest Requirements - You must be over the age of 25 in order to rent a home from Beachcomber Vacation Homes. This Reservation cannot be transferred to anyone else and subletting the home is prohibited. The contracted guest is the responsible party for all intentional or malicious damage done by anyone in their party including structural damage, damage to furnishings, theft, unnecessary maintenance, and the need for extra cleaning beyond what is normally required at departure. Our homes are in neighborhoods that have fulltime residents so please be courteous with parking, outside activities, lights and noise.
Cancellation - If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact AirBnB right away
Number of Guests and Cars - Seascape Retreat has parking for 10 cars and can sleep up to 28 people if the air bed and pull-out sofas are used. Each home has a rental permit from either the city of Cannon Beach or Clatsop County that regulates how many guests may stay and how many cars are allowed to park. If more people stay at the house than permitted, then such is a violation of this Guest Reservation Contract rental and constitutes grounds for immediate termination and eviction. No RV’s, 5th Wheels, or campers are allowed on the property.
Pets - Seascape Retreat is not a pet friendly home. If a pet is found in a non pet friendly house without prior notice and consent, then such is a violation of this Guest Reservation Contract and constitutes rounds for immediate termination and eviction in addition to a $250.00 fine.
If you have an ADA service animal please let our office know right away so that we can make special arrangements in the event that you have chosen a non-pet friendly home
High Chairs & Pak N Plays - Both High Chairs and Pak n Plays can be borrowed from us on a first come first served basis. Please let us know in advance of your arrival if either one is needed.
Left Behind Items - If you leave something behind in the house please give us a call right away. If we find it we can mail it back to you, with the shipping charges dependent on the size and weight of the package.
Guest Responsibilities at Departure - Please do not strip or make the beds or start any laundry. All that is required is that you load the dishwasher, take out all of the garbage and leave the house reasonably clean and in order.
Smoking - There is no smoking (neither tobacco or marijuana) allowed in any of our homes. If you smoke outside please do so at the appropriate distance from the home and dispose of your cigarette materials appropriately. If anyone smokes inside the home, then such is a violation of this Guest Reservation Contract and constitutes grounds for immediate termination and eviction. You will also be subject to a minimum $250.00 cleaning fee.
Supplies - Beachcomber Vacation Homes supplies bed linen, towels, kitchen towels, bath mats and rugs, paper towels, toilet paper, tissue, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, and coffee filters if needed. Please bring your own beach towels as the towels in the home are not meant to be taken to the beach.
Trash - Please place all garbage and recycling materials in the cans provided. If you have excess garbage, please bag it and let our office know when you depart so that we can pick it up. Your trash day will be noted on your refrigerator door.
Smoke Detectors & CO Detectors - Please check to see if you detectors are working and call us immediately if they are not so we can replace them. Batteries can die at any time and we want you to have a safe stay with us.
Key Codes - All Beachcomber Vacation Homes have a key-less entry system. You will be given your code at check-in, or if you plan to arrive after our office hours, we will call you with your code. The code will not work until 4 pm on the day of your arrival and will deactivate shortly after 11 am on the day of your departure. If you need a little extra time for departure, or if you are arriving earlier than 4 pm, please give our office a call and we’ll try to accommodate you if we can.
Unforeseen Circumstances - Even the best made plans can hit a snag and renting a vacation home is no different. If your home becomes unavailable due to plumbing, electrical or heating issues, roof damage or anything else beyond our control that makes it uninhabitable, we will try to move you to a comparable home. If a comparable home is not available, Beachcomber will give you the option of receiving a refund or choosing an upgraded home, subject to availability. If you choose an upgraded home, any increase in rental rate will be your responsibility.
Indemnify and Hold Harmless - Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the owner and Beachcomber Vacation Homes and its officers, directors, agents and employees of and from any and all claims, , causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including attorneys fees, and costs, arising out of, relating to, or in connection with the reservation and/or use occupancy or rental of the home or property specified in this Guest Reservation Contract.
Legal - In the event of a breach of this Guest Reservation Contract or dispute concerning its interpretation or enforcement, the losing party shall pay the prevailing party’s costs, expenses, and attorney fees incurred.
