My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tate's apartment! The view of Hoboken, the Hudson River, and Manhattan are great! I love reading thorough reviews, so here is way too much information: The apartment and bedroom are spacious (though it could use another small side table for the far side of the bed, and an extension cord to keep phones charging on a bedside table. Also, I grabbed two chairs from the dining table as a luggage rack and that worked well!). We didn't use the AC in the room, but it's nice to have on warmer days. We grabbed the rotating fan from the living room which was awesome there was one there (we like fans for white noise when we sleep). The rug hadn't been vacuumed, the towels in the guest room still had the store tags on them (so obviously not washed -- we found some clean ones in the hall closet and just used those), and other things around the apartment looked like it hadn't been cleaned professionally -- but for the great rate, my husband and I didn't really care... it just felt like we were visiting with a buddy from college or something. The bed (queen) is pretty firm, but since we'd been exhausted from alllll the walking all day, we slept really well :) The bathroom was nice - nice to have a window to vent out steam and let some fresh air in while getting ready. The shower hot water and water pressure are fantastic. Also, not that we needed it, but I look out for this sort of thing - there was a plunger under the sink, which is good to know :-p The kitchen was fine - again, nice to have the window for fresh breeze. There's a Keurig and a reuseable filter (which we didn't notice, so we bought some pods. The first morning, we walked to the ferry and stopped in nearby/on the way Salem & Sons for breakfast pastries and a frappachino bottle. Regarding transportation in/out of Manhattan: -- The NJ bus stop is only a block away (route 123), and easy to plan with the NJ transit app or with (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps . The bus will take you to the NYC Port Authority bus terminal near Times Square within about 20 minutes, which is awesome. You'll need exact cash for the ride into the city, but once you're at the Port Authority bus terminal get a bus pass card at a pay machine in the port authority bus terminal and just keep incrementally adding money on it - so easy. -- We also took the ferry a couple times heading into the city (20 minute walk to the Hoboken 14th Street station. Check out NY Waterways - their website has plenty of info for schedules and their free bus routes on the Manhattan side (peak times and non-peak). The ferry is a beautiful way to head in, and Hoboken is so charming so it's totally...

This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a place near NYC. The bus stop right outside the building and takes you directly to Manhattan in 20 mins. There are some grocery stores within 5 mins of walking distance. Tate's place is very clean and just as described. He was always available and made sure that our stay was comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

The location was ideal for what I was looking for and the fact that Tate had a visitors parking pass really helped out.
