Most of my rules are common sense rules.
1- Smoking allowed outside the home only
2-This is private property. Please do not unlock gates to allow strangers, or people you do not know onto the property without approval.
3- Please note: Your room will only be entered for cleaning before you arrive and after you leave. It’s your private space and I especially like to give my guest privacy. The small cleaning fee covers linen wash, and cleaning supplies. It’s not sufficient to cover labor. The shared living space is a courtesy cleaning to keep the cost affordable, however you are expected to clean the cutlery, dish & appliances you personally utilize daily. Thanks for your cooperation.
4- Check out is at 1:00pm. I need to both clean & disinfect the room properly before another guest use it. My procedures take a little more time than a regular cleaning because I am caring for my guest. Kindly remove your items in a timely manner, so that I do not have to do so; if your flight leave late you can stay around, but please remove items because another guest may need the room that day. Thanks for your cooperation.
5- Please keep screens doors closed at all times. Mosquitos are common on all tropical islands. The area is safe to leave windows & doors open for natural breeze, but keep screen doors close to keep out mosquitoes and critters that live on this island. I can’t control your experience outdoor, but windows and doors are screened to protect you indoor.
6- The upper part of the house is not completed; it's forbidden for safetyreasons. No work will be done to disturb guest.
7- This is important. Please remove all empty food containers from your room wastebasket at the ending of each day. Absolutely do not store bags of food waste in your room trashcan overnight. This act encourages critters, and I make a big effort to keep them out. I will empty trash overnight to avoid any critters. Thanks for your understand.
8- Please throw toilet paper into the restroom trashcan. Too much toilet paper in toilet slows down toilet and can clog it. Thanks
9- Please understand that check-in is at 4:00pm and after, but not before because this is the time that fits into my schedule. My guest leaves at 1:00pm, so you cannot get into the room while it’s being utilized. I will be at the house to welcome you at the time indicated as listed.
10- If you or your children damage property kindly inform host. We all have damage something at some point and time in our life, and I can accept that we are not perfect, but walking away and denying our responsibility is not the right thing to do. Your damage is covered under the security deposit policy.
11- I have new light colored, quality carpet in the living room. Please be respectful, and do not wear your shoes on the carpet or in the house at all. If you wear your shoes outdoor absolutely do not wear them on the carpet or in the home. I put a lot of effort into keeping my carpet clean for guest, and I do not want to have to withdraw your security deposit for incompliance.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation...

I’m Hilda a certified Cosmetologist and publisher of a small beauty magazine; I live in the US Virgin Islands. I was born and raised on St. Croix. It’s a friendly place. I love humid climates and warm beaches. I am down to earth, cool, open and easy to communicate with. I’m a strong believer in human rights for all people. I believe that people should treat people the way they want to be treated. I take care of my guest and treat them all well regardless to ethnicity. I am thankful that the training of a loving mother instilled these values into her children. When you get to my place you won’t have to think about what the island has to offer; it’s all laid out for you daily. I try to live my life positively, and I give first time guest an opportunity without a review because someone has to. I respect my guest and I open my doors to offer decent, quality, affordable housing to communities that are in need of this service. I don’t indulge in negativity, and I kindly ask that guest respect my home, and be appreciative of the diligent service I offer. I welcome genuine guest of this manner to my home.
