It is secluded with access to the Carson River using existing mountain bike and hiking trails right from the doorstep. Disponible para huéspedes

To get to this unique location and experience nature with no civilization around you will need a vehicle that can handle a single lane rocky cantankerous road. I suggest an SUV, Truck, or Jeep. You can also park in a lot just off of 395 and I can pick you up. Once you're here you'll know it was worth the effort. Cheers!

I am delighted to write this review. This one one of, if not the, best Airbnb experience I have had. Here are some highlights and helpful comments: 1. Getting up the dirt road to Chris' home is best done with an SUV. Also, use the link from the email send by Airbnb to get the correct directions and call Chris beforehand so he can help you make sure you get to the right place and be prepared if you need help coming up. I had no problem getting up there with my 2005 Honda Pilot with all terrain tires but if you have a very low car, that may present issues. Chris is more than happy to meet you and take you up to the property. For me, this was a plus as I love going off road. He also had other trails on the property that I did not get the opportunity to explore, but will when I return. 2. The space you have is big! It is separated from where the main house is by the garage. You have a sauna, two showers (one where the sauna is and one upstairs where the bedroom is), a ping pong table, floor space to work out, and access to outside which leads to the next highlight.... 3. The view outside is amazing. There is a cold plunge, a small pool, a swing, and beautiful landscaping. The place is kept up very nice and it is the perfect place to relax and take in the scenery. 4. The bedroom has an incredible view. When you wake up, you can see the orange glow behind the mountains. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfy, and there is a balcony. 5. I picked this spot because I was planning to go up Mt. Dana at Tioga pass. Turns out, Tioga pass was closed. Chris, being the badass athlete that he is, walked me outside to show me Job's peak (you can see the mountain range very clear from the property). I followed him to the trailhead the next morning. He did a trail run up to the path that leads to the summit. He drew arrows in the sand and a few smiley faces, to let me know I was going the right way, and checked up on me when he was running back down. It was an incredible hike. I could not summit because of the snow fall, but I do plan to go back and conquer it. I highly recommend doing some hiking while you are there. Also, Chris does kayak guides which I would be interested in doing next time. 6. Summary, if you love the mountains and adventure and want a comfortable clean spacious place to stay while you enjoy it, I highly recommend staying here. If you are unsure what you want to do, Chris has plenty of suggestions for a variety of adventures. I had a blast and most definitely will be back.

Stayed there for the second time and planning the third time. This time we enjoyed the sauna and right after the ice (natural) cold tank. Unique and relaxing experience.

Another amazing stay at Christopher's Coyotes Adventure Resort! This has become our go to place to stay near Tahoe. Chris made our trip extra memorable by leading us through his sauna and ice bath ritual in which we relaxed in his sauna then ran outside and plunged into his 8 ft deep ice bath! Very euphoric! Hope to be back soon

We had a wonderful stay! The scenery, being in a desert surrounded by snow-covered mountains, was incredible and Christopher was very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful home complete with a nice ping-pong table and sauna. Wish we stayed longer and could explore the Carson river, but have a feeling we'll be back soon.

This place is way too cosy and the scene from the house is epic! Please watch the sunrise and sunset there - remarkable! If you love the outdoors, adventures, mountain bike, hiking, kayaking, nature in general, this is a place for you. Chris owns an adventure company, so he knows the area very well and can give you great adventure tips. He literately made me feel at home. He picked me up from the beginning of the dirt road because my car wasn't able to go up there. Don't try to drive there if you don't have a good 4x4. Even if your car doesn't go up to his house, don't feel discouraged to stay there. You can park your car before the dirt road and he will pick you up without any hassle with a smile in his face.

I'm athletic with an adventurous passion who loves to ski in the winter and mountain bike in the summer not to mention kayaking, swimming, and sailing for water fun. I love the rush of skiing down virgin powder, kayaking a river gorge, and watching the sunset go down sipping a nice glass of wine! I like keeping things simple and fun!
