This is a new apartment building, so new there is still construction plywood lining the elevator walls. The building is on a hillside interspersed with other modern apartment buildings and vintage homes and school. The cobblestone one lane road to reach it is very bumpy and old. Security in the building is great. A remote control fob you get controls the main gate and parking is in the ground level garage. An assigned space is near the entrance. An elevator from the garage to the third floor apartment makes unloading the car quick and painless. Elevators are a luxury in Poland so I enjoyed not having to lug heavy items up endless stairs.
The apartment is new and everything shiny and clean. Some things common to most Airbnb's were missing, such as shampoo, soap, toilet paper, paper towels and pot holder. There was nothing to eat or drink in the kitchen, not even coffee or tea, which was a disappointment. I believe this is a company own apartment, not an individual so it has a different feel. Last month I stayed in an individual own apartment in the Old Town. He has been renting out his apartment for several years so he is more in tune to clients' wishes.
Paulina has an employee that works in the building who is friendly. We arranged a checkout time and she punctually appeared to get the key. When told about missing toilet paper she said we should have called her. (We made a trip to a store where we bought other missing items we expected, then we took them all back home to Slupsk later.) The apartment is comfortable and large for two people. There is a balcony so we spent a short time enjoying the pleasant weather out there. A bakery is on the street below with good pastries and coffee. Walk rather than take a car, school traffic before 9 makes it hard to park.
I would recommend this place. For the money it is a much better deal than a decent hotel. Parking is secure, not like most places in the Old Town. To enjoy the place a car is needed because restaurants are a distance away. There are tram tracks but I did not see a nearby stop.
