A really lovely cottage in a friendly area. It was our first family holiday and I'm glad we stayed here, I would definitely recommend it to other couples. Our dog loved it too! The only thing I would pick up on is there weren't much in the way of basics like butter or bread and there wasn't any sugar for tea or coffee, so make sure if you're staying to take these with you....but there was a bottle of Prosecco and some flapjacks which went down well loved our stay though, we would love to come back!

What a fantastic place - compact yet everything is there for a home from home stay. Very comfy and cosy in a lovely location, close to a great pub and all the Suffolk coastal gems. Highly recommended.

This is a small but very cosy and pretty cottage in a beautiful location. There's a big bath, as well as a shower, lovely comfy bed and pretty front garden. Nicola was really welcoming and kindly provided milk, prosecco, and some chocolate goods! Aldeburgh (approx 15 mins away) is stunning and there's a great diner called Delphine's Diner to get breakfast/coffee. This is a perfect place to stay if you like quaint things :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place. We received a very warm welcome in the form of milk in the fridge, biscuits and a chilled bottle of prosecco! The cottage was compact and well equipped, just right for us and our dog for a short stay. We visited Snape, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Southwold, Orford and Dunwich. Great walks, we were lucky with warm, sunny weather.

Great, beautiful place for a quiet weekend. More secluded than I thought but easy to get around in an the evening with local cabs at reasonable prices (£12 return to Orford) or the ship just a 10 minute walk if you fancied a drink.

Tudor Cottage was perfect for our long weekend, warm, cosy and comfortable and beautifully presented. So much charm and character, we loved it. Yes, it has low beams and ceilings and a steep staircase but you know these things before you book. We particularly liked the outdoor areas which are so pretty. The bed is very comfortable too. It is very rural so it was quiet and peaceful but the location is excellent to explore all that the local area has to offer. Nicola, the host was helpful and responded to any questions we had. We appreciated the provisions that were left particularly the bottle of bubbly to celebrate a birthday - a nice touch. Would definitely return.

If you want a quiet, off the beaten track place in rural Suffolk, then Tudor Cottage is for you. Nicola has done an excellent job in making the place comfortable, especially the quaint upstairs. If you're worried about hitting your head on the low beams, and being out in the countryside, then go to a hotel. This place has oodles of charm, with a small but well organised kitchen, and much more. It was an added benefit to have 2 bathrooms as the staircase is steep, and who wants to navigate that in the middle of the night? It's absolutely charming, and well priced for what you get.
