Welcome to our Eagles Nest home in Silverthorne, Colorado! Live like a local and choose your best powder location - we go where it snows! With easy access to 5 ski areas within 20 minutes of our home, just check the snow report and decide where you'll ski today! Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone, A-Basin and Loveland ski areas area all less than 1/2 hour from our home. Vail and Beaver Creek just a few minutes longer (30 to Vail, 45 to Beaver Creek) and even Steamboat is close at about 90 minutes. Definitely the best location in Summit County for the adventurous skier!

At the end of the day, return to your home away from home and cozy up in front of our beautiful wood fireplace (yes, firewood is provide) or hit the private hot tub for a bit of relaxing. Our home is the traditional log style, surrounded by trees, yet easy access in the golfing community of Eagles Nest in Silverthorne.

Our home is quite large and can accommodate up to 16 friends and family. We have 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, pool and shuffle board tables, fully equipped kitchen and three different hang out areas, providing plenty of room to enjoy and also separation and privacy for our guests.

The bedroom arrangements in our home provide plenty of separation and privacy as well. The master is located in the upper level of the home and features a King size bed, private bath and balcony access. Also located upstairs across the main level of the home is the Kid's room, with 4 twins and a loveseat.

The main level of the home features our family suite, with a Queen bed and 2 bunk beds (4 twins) and a private bath. The lower level of the home has two additional bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with two twin beds. There is a full bathroom on the lower level as well.

THIS IS A NON-SMOKING UNIT. We have a NO TOLERANCE policy when it comes to smoking anywhere on the property premise, including inside unit, on deck, in garage in driveway or on property grounds. This includes both cigarette smoke and marijuana (pot) smoke. Any smoking in the unit will be subject to an immediate $1000 fine and will be accessed to the credit card used on the reservation. This fine is subject for smoking remnants as well as cigarette or pot odors. Additional fees may be charged if carpet cleaning and/or dry cleaning is needed to remove smoke odors. We want everyone to have a good time, but not at the expense of the cleaning company, property owner or our next guest's comfort in arriving to a clean unit. Appreciate your understanding.

PLEASE NO SHOES INSIDE THE HOME. We kindly ask that enter through the garage and remove your shoes while inside our home. Absolutely no SKI BOOTS allowed inside the home. HUGE THANK YOU for helping us to keep our home nice for you and all of our guests.

MINIMUM AGE. Renters must be a minimum of 30 years old. Guests less than 30 years of age must have an adult with them for the duration of the stay. Failure to comply may result in termination of the rental agreement without penalty to owner or host.

PROPERTY DAMAGES. Renters will be responsible for any property damages and excessive cleaning incurred during their stay. Damages caused per the renter will be charged to the credit card used for the reservation. CLEANING SERVICES. We do not offer daily maid or cleaning services. Mid-stay cleaning can be provided on a per request basis for an additional charge. Home does have a full size washer and dryer in the unit.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY. The maximum number of guests permitted is limited to sixteen (16) persons.

MAXIMUM ADULTS: Our home will easily accommodate families with up to 10-15 guests, but for everyone's enjoyment, we ask that the adults in the group be limited to 10 (authorization and additional charges apply for groups with more than 8 adults).

FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.

LIABILITY RELEASE: Property owners, cleaning company and rental management company will not be responsible for accidents, damages or injury to renters using the property.

GARAGE UNAVAILABLE: Garage is currently used by owners and unavailable for guest usage.

This house is absolutely beautiful. The house was very easy to find and close to stores and restaurants. Check in and out was very easy and hassle free. The house has all high end furniture and the kitchen is really well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room for all of us to have our separate spaces.

The home itself is beautiful, decent location in Silverthorne, good sized, good amenities. But no amount of beauty or luxury would be worth the headache you'll go through with dealing with these hosts. They are extremely type A personality with every single item in the home labeled and organized. Fantastic during your stay, a nightmare afterwards. My parents, siblings and two friends stayed for my brothers 30th birthday ski trip we had planned. We took great care of the home and cleaned up to what we believe was immaculate state before we left. Days later (nearly an entire week), we get a very detailed list of items that they want to be compensated for which are very detailed and minute, normal wear and tear items in the home. Example, a penny sized "stain" on the carpet of a 9000 sq foot home, missing towel (not sure how it's possible), lamps being unplugged, cigarette but in the hot tub ($1000 charge) when we know for a fact there was not a smoker in the hot tub. It's just been a huge battle and we are feeling completely harassed. Not to mention, there was a pipe that burst and caused a huge leak on the main floor which made it unlivable and the lighting in the main living room went out which was a huge inconvenience that we aren't being compensated for. With hosts like these, it will make you never want to use Airbnb again because you'll feel like you can't live but have to spend your entire time making sure there isn't one ounce of wear and tear or you'll be charged for thousands afterwards. Not worth it.

Kelsey, Mary and Scott, the owners of this property, have a beautiful home and they want it to remain nice for their enjoyment and their guest's enjoyment. The owners arrived after your stay and were very unhappy with the way the home was treated. They found cigarettes floating in the hot tub and cannabis remains outside the tub as well. We also found dog waste and hair in the home and beverage stains on the dining room and end tables, as well as a number of other items, which I shared with you. We did not send maintenance over PER YOUR REQUEST to address the leak in the living room as you did not want to be interrupted on a Sunday and during the Superbowl. The owners had some gutter work done the previous week to help with the snow on the roof and it needed some maintenance. Easy fix that has been taken care of. We apologize for any inconvenience, but were not aware that this was a large issue with you until now. After sending you the damages, your story has changed. That's unfortunate. We do not charge for damages that are not warranted. We provided an itemized list and pictures. I heard nothing back from you until I escalated to AirBnB. For any future guests, please note that we absolutely want you to have the best stay and memories in our homes. As a local host in the area, I've hosted hundreds of stays on AirBnB, so please check us out. Yes, these owners regularly stay in their property as this is their home, so this is not the "party house" that we recommend renting. It is a beautiful home, very well appointed and taken care of. Our rules are posted (see no smoking on property, no pets, all adults minimum age of 27 - updated to minimum age of 30 after this incident given that AirBnB did confirm that Kelsey was less than the required minimum of 27 years of age in booking this property).
