Comfy ground floor living room. Relax and unwind on the 2 comfy sofas in front of a roaring fire. Large screen SMART TV so you can watch Netflix or enjoy one of the many DVDs provided. Plan your next days hike using any of the maps, walking books or Wainwright DVDs. Feel free to read any of the books during your stay - there are some great reads there!
Ground floor utility room has a washing machine and dryer for your use and is the perfect place to leave all walking boots/gear.
Fully equipped kitchen with electric hob and oven, all appliances, dining table & chairs for up to 4 and charming wood burner to enjoy over dinner. You should find all the tableware, cooking utensils etc. needed for your stay. A concealed larder cupboard houses the fridge/freezer, microwave and baby booster seat for young infants.
Spacious master bedroom on the first floor. You will find your bed made up with crisp white cotton sheets and soft white fluffy towels. Spacious wardrobe & dresser with ample storage to make your stay comfortable.
First floor snug area is the perfect place to relax over a glass of wine and to enjoy the stunning views from the comfort of the sofa. Turn on the electric fire and radio, grab a board game from the antique sideboard and relax!
Modern 3pc bathroom suite with instant hot power shower & fresh white walls. You can see the fells from the bathroom window or enjoy a candle lit soak.
A staircase leads to the attic twin bedroom with 2 single beds and more views to the Wastwater fells. Please note the staircase here is steep and includes low beams, so may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Attic bedroom is spacious & a great spot for kids and teenagers. Adults can also use but will need to be mindful of the low beams.
Private rear garden with a patio area and lawns with lovely views over the fields to Wastwater. In the Spring enjoy the lambs playing in the fields and star gaze on clear nights in front of the roaring chimnea. Maybe enjoy some wine and toast marshmallows over the BBQ!

Welcome pack including coal, logs and firelighters is provided but guests will need to purchase their own after this. Coal is located in coal bucket in living room, logs and firelighters in utility room. Details on how to lay the fire and use wood burner can be found in utility room.
Parking for 1 car in front of cottage. Additional cars should park on grass verge across lane.
Rear of property is for loading/unloading only.
Some mobile networks are limited from inside cottage. However wifi is provided for your use.

Fun and chatty. Like shoes.....and more shoes......nice food - eating & cooking!! Getting away from the madness of the city into the countryside! Love the Lake District and also being by the sea so Whitstable in Kent is another one of my favourite spots!! Favourite overseas travel destination - India!
