Dirk stayed at our home while we were on holiday in March. Towards the end of his stay Dirk sent me an e mail regarding the condition and cleanliness of our home which I considered to be greatly exaggerated and demanding a full refund which I refused. The matter became quite acrimonious and went to Air BnB for arbitration. After reviewing the evidence produced by Dirk Air BnB concluded there were no significant issues and had there been, Dirk would have raised the the matter when he arrived at our home and not the day before he checked out. Therefore Air BnB did not offer him any refund,
I cannot recomend Dirk as a guest Although this property at this time has 27 reviews, 16 for our guest room an 9 for the flat as a whole, 26 of them are positiv and I also have 26 positive reviews for my other property this was the most negative Air BnB experience I have ever had, particularly give the total disrespect Dirk showed towards our home. If you do host Dirk be prepared he will take photos of your cooker from 10cm away and of marks on your furniture and demand a full refund for his stay.
