Casa dell'Arco, is a self-catering guest house that belongs to a medieval stone hamlet named "Borgo di Pianciano" recently renovated and composed by other 2 guest houses. It is located in a secluded and peaceful valley with breath-taking views right in the middle of Umbria's best attractions. Every house has its own private garden and a terrace where it is possible to eat outdoors. Panoramic shared pool (15x5) and steam bath.
Casa dell'Arco looks onto the hamlet and can accommodate up to 8 people. It is named after the large stone arch in the living room. It has a private garden with an outdoor table to eat outside. It is a very large house (about 300m2). The ground floor features a large kitchen, a spacious living room with a fireplace, an impressive dining room excavated in the rock, a store room, a small anteroom with the guests bathroom and another storeroom for suitcases on the staircase leading to the upper floor. The bedrooms are on the upper floor: a master bedroom with a fireplace and a bathroom (shower), another master bedroom, a room with two beds and another bathroom. On the same floor, there is another room with two beds with a separate entrance, a bathroom and a very small kitchen. The laundry is located in a separate premise. The house is decorated with both modern and antique furniture. (dish washer, washing machine, hair dryer, iron, barbecue).

Guests will enjoy a shared (with 2 other guest houses) swimming pool 12x5 and a steam-bath in handmade "tadelakt". A vegetable garden produces vegetables for the table and flowers for the Pianciano's guest houses. A game room with table tennis is available for younger guests.

We organize cookery lessons of traditional Umbrian cuisine and gourmet dinner with fresh seasonal local products on request. We often organize a homemade pizzas cooked in the medieval wooden oven. Lasagna and a bottle of Umbrian wine "Rosso di Montefalco" will welcome you on your arrival.
