This is our Mountain View Casita, which has an inspirational view of the red cliffs of Brandenburg Mountain to the North and Holy Joe Peak to the East.
All Casitas have a walk-in saltillo tiled shower, wood-burning fireplace and air conditioning. Each Casita has a private entrance, covered patio, and a unique water fountain to enhance the ambiance of the surrounding Sonoran Desert. The Casitas have their own distinctive characteristics described above.
Located two and a half hours southeast of Phoenix and one hour north of Tucson, Arizona, is Aravaipa Farms Retreat. The original owner and proprietor built the Farm from a few remaining frames of an abandoned structure into the five-casita upscale rustic paradise it is today.
Hidden amidst the canyon and away from tech-friendly civilization, this retreat creates a tantalizing experience for the senses and a refuge from the hectic day-to-day. Enjoy a walk through the blooming farm of asian pear, Meyer lemon and peach trees; the sounds of songbirds making music in the morning and the trickling of water from the many eclectic fountains on property; a visual menagerie of the surrounding nature combined with the indigenous decor of each of the 6 casitas (Five studios and One 3 bedroom home), designed by the world renowned Carol Steele herself, the mystery, comfort and ultimate privacy found at Aravaipa Farms is like none other.
Known worldwide for a dense biodiversity and spring-fed pristine creek that runs through the canyon, Aravaipa Farms lies next to the Aravaipa Wilderness Preserve, which is home to 100 butterfly species, 400 bird species, 93 mammals and 47 amphibians and reptiles – the greatest diversity of vertebrates in North American and the second highest land-mammal diversity in the world.
