The quoted price is based on 3 nights in the spring or autumn. Depending on when you want to come I will reply with the best price available based on your length of stay. It may well be lower in winter and higher in the summer. In the summer we prefer weekly stays.

THE PROPERTY
Cobbler View is a detached bungalow in a small development approx. 1 mile outside of Lochgoilhead village. Sitting in an elevated position above Loch Goil, the holiday home is positioned to make the most of the view across the loch and to the mountains of the Argyll Forest Park. The outstanding feature of this house is the conservatory which is accessed from the lounge as well as a spacious deck, more like a viewing platform, taking in the view. This is a wonderful all weather sitting area making the most of its location. Cobbler View is spacious, well equipped for a family holiday and comfortably furnished. All rooms are on one level and may suit guests with limited mobility. 3 steps at the entrance and then everything is on the level.


OUTSIDE SPACE
A spacious deck area with uninterrupted views over Loch Goil. Wow! Sit and birdwatch, paint, read, socialise, or do nothing except watch the view.

There is ample parking and turning space by the house. Most of this area is chipped

To the front at what would have been the patio, is where the conservatory sits
There is a brick build BBQ. Please provide your own charcoal and utensils

Entry: A key safe code is sent with the directions. You are not met my anyone – you let yourself in
Arrival & departure: From 4pm on arrival until 10am on departure
Shopping: Small grocery store in the village, Costcutter mini-market 1 mile away, ASDA home deliver to this cottage

Hello, I am Leonard. Welcome to Lochgoilhead Holidays

I have been looking after holiday cottages and homes in my beautiful home area in Argyll for 26+ years. I have been in the travel business in the UK, Canada and Australia for 40 years. That adds up to a whole lot of experience.

My home owners entrust their homes to me so that I can help, you the guest, find just the right property for your stay. I work with the housekeepers to make sure that the homes are ready for your arrival and are as described in their web descriptions.

I live in Lochgoilhead and am available to you during your stay to answer any questions and to help you make the most out of your time in Scotland.

Finding your holiday home is easy. Once you have confirmed your stay I will be in touch with a detailed map and directions as well as key collection information.

You may think booking with a local agent is impersonal. Far from it. This is what I do, and even after all this time. I want you to come and enjoy what we have to offer.

A word about reviews. Airbnb is built on relationships. At the end of your stay you will be asked for a review. There is some confusion here. Some guests are scaring based on the property - rather than the way I am handling the questions and the booking process.
