The cottage is small and quaint, and there is not a lot of extra room outside for more than three to four people. Most of our guests tend to eat out, so our kitchen has all the essentials needed, but are happy to provide a larger pan if necessary from our own kitchen if requested. We do not offer a grill for cooking,. For us it is a safety issue having a grill outside on a small patio so close to a cottage with vinyl siding. The outside is not setup for outdoor entertaining, but is a lovely spot for coffee in the morning. I run my own business so am not around to check guests in and Mark maintains our other four properties. We interact with our guests as necessary, and respect their privacy as our house is on the same property as the cottage, so we are very mindful about giving our guests the space. But, we are always responsive and reachable as needed. We are also new to the area, so we do not have all the local knowledge for the beaches etc, but do leave plenty of literature and suggestions that help guests explore the area on their own !
