Cozy cabin next to a creek. Full bathroom and kitchen privileges in the main house. Midnight-emergency potty just a few feet away. The cabin is TINY (just a double bed and a few feet of floor space to change clothes. There's a flip-down desk for computing or writing. We have wifi, but there is NO CELL PHONE SERVICE and GPS DOES NOT WORK.
The cabin has windows on all sides with nice views, and curtains for privacy. Very quiet. Main house has a land line which is always available.

El lugar

36 acre ranch and wildlife preserve in a scenic quiet valley surrounded by 300-500 foot mountains covered with Ponderosa pines just 4 miles from Hwy 212.

Guided hikes or XC-skiing in gorgeous mountains right out the back door. Location is ideal for traveling east to Sturgis, Mt. Rushmore or the Black Hills.
Also fairly close to the Bighorn Mts, and world-class fishing on the Bighorn River. Located 100 miles east of Billings, MT. Furry friends are welcome on an individual basis. Just ask.

Disponible para huéspedes

Close to great hiking, climbing, kayaking, XC-skiing, Cheyenne cultural events. Play with the horses.
Go for a walk along the creek. Sit in a porch swing by the creek. There's a no-stink potty shack with a composting toilet right across the bridge from the cabin, but guests can eat, shower and do laundry in the main house.

Atención a los huéspedes

You can be as private as you like as the cabin is very secluded down by the creek. We'll interact with you as much as you like including making meals, guided walks/hikes/XC-ski trips around the ranch. There's a big screen TV in the house and you're welcome to hang out in the house in the evening. I do offer breakfast to all guests.

Otros aspectos destacables

We also have a steampunk themed room that sleeps 3 (double bed and a twin trundle bed). If you're really adventurous, there's a mountain-top cabin you can try that's only a 20-minute hike from the house. We also have a separate house available in the winter months. It has two bedrooms, one with a twin bed, one with bunk beds. full bath, and kitchen.

Abbey is a phenomenal host whose hospitality and kindness are next to none. The cabin is no luxury penthouse, but pleasant and quaint beyond words - perfect for me and my SO to sleep overnight on our way back to Seattle. The setting is gorgeous as well. We would happily stay again!

Abbey (and Steve) go above and beyond as hosts. Their generosity and gregariousness made this a truly great experience. The property is absolutely huge with some really fun homemade hiking trails. Both also know a ton about the area and the state in general, so they are invaluable as resource to make the most of your trip out here. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Staying at Abbey and Steve's is like staying with family, such is the welcome you will receive. The cabin is exactly as described with lots of fun knick knacks and set within the beautiful native American ranch. We were very disappointed to be staying only the one night as exploring the surrounding hillsides looked like a great experience! Go for the beautiful views but definitely stay for Abbey's bacon and eggs!!

I am really sorry about what happened. I got called away due to my elderly mom having a fall. I refunded your money and hope the rest of your trip goes well.

Camping without a tent by having the cabin all set up, even including a/c - and access to the main house's facilities. Beautiful nature surrounds you and was a good location for us to visit friends and family in Lame Deer.

I highly recommend staying at this amazing little cabin! Abbey wasn't there but she was so great about communicating everything beforehand and her husband was so great and helpful! We checked in late due to driving and they were so welcoming! I wish we could've stayed longer!
