My studio home here in central London is a 5 minute stroll from Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery or Covent Garden Piazza and the Royal Opera House. A 10 minute walk along Embankment will take you to the Palace of Westminster and Parliament Square. Or 10 minutes walk across Embankment bridge will land you on the lively South Bank, where you'll find Royal Festival Hall, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and the Tate Modern with loads of great restaurants and bars in between.
This neat trendy pied de terre is my home in London. It is a large studio suitable for two guests. It is a loft apartment with a good sized living space, and bedroom area, as well as a separate kitchen and bathroom. The neat galley kitchen has all you need including a washer/dryer with a brilliant niche for having breakfast and looking out over the rooftops to the Thames. The living area has a wall mounted TV which you can connect your laptop to using the HDMI provided. There is no arial so if you want to watch TV then you'll need a laptop/tablet with an HDMI connection. WiFi is provided at no extra charge.
Disponible para huéspedes
The studio is available when I'm out of town, and sleeps two. There is no space for any more that a couple / two sharing, so please do not plan to bring additional guests.
There is access to the roof, as my flat is on the top (5th) floor. The views across the Thames are brilliant and absolutely amazing for any fireworks! You can see the Millennium Wheel up the river and the lights of the South Bank are amazing, as well as The Shard and all the City of London buildings.

Otros aspectos destacables
The studio is on the 5th floor and there is no lift. You should be prepared for the 93 step walk-up! I would not recommend large suitcases or back-packs!
If you come for New Year's Eve the flat is in the restricted, ticketed area of central London. I will provide you with passes, and of course the view from the roof is exceptional for the Fireworks!
- The studio is suitable for couples or two people sharing only as there is just the 1 double bed. Altho the views from the roof are amazing the access is only meant for use during emergencies. As such access is steep. The studio is on the 5th floor with no lift, so guests should keep luggage to a minimum, and be fit enough to manage the 9 flights and 93 steps! It is worth the climb, honestly! Although this is my home, I'm happy to share when I'm out of town, and you are welcome to use my records, DVDs and read my books. However please do not take any, as they are all very precious to me. There is clean laundry (towels & sheets) provided. Please can you strip the bed and put the used linen/towels in the bath before you leave. Do let me know of any breakages so we can discuss replacements. Although there is a TV which is licensed, you will need a laptop to connect via the HDMI cable to the TV. There is no actual ariel connected.

Professional, living and working in central London. Living on the 5th floor with no lift might seem like a draw back, but apart from keeping me fit, it's a small price to pay for living 5 mins from Covent Garden and 3 minutes from Trafalgar Square! Like strolling through the empty streets in the early morning or escaping the crowds up on the roof, taking in the view of the Thames with the busy south bank in the background.
