Hampton Wafre Cottage has been converted from a 17th century stone barn. The detached cottage has its own private enclosed garden and is located half a mile up a private drive on a working arable farm. It enjoys a rural location which offers country walks with stunning unspoilt views, indigenous wildlife and carp fishing exclusive to the cottage (please bring your own fishing tackle) on a peaceful, idyllically situated lake.

The pretty village of Docklow is within easy walking distance and it is here that you will find Docklow Pools, located within the village and offering excellent fishing, together with their own pub and restaurant.

Attractions and nearby amenities

Within a short drive there are a wealth of places to visit and explore such as the stately homes of Berrington Hall, Hampton Court Castle & Gardens or Croft Castle and Parkland.
Discover the historic cathedral city of Hereford and ancient market towns Ledbury and Ludlow. The latter with its award winning Michelin restaurants, secluded gastro-pubs, historic market square and famous castle ruins. To celebrate all the excellent food and drink every September, it is host to the Ludlow Food and Drink Festival where food lovers descend in their masses to enjoy the 3 day event.
The nearest town, Leominster, which has a railway station, is 10 minutes away while also boasting an array of excellent shopping facilities.
Visit the Chase Distillery and take part in the Distillery tasting tour.
Slightly further afield is the beautiful, cathedral city of Worcester which can be reached in 40 minutes and has managed to retain the quintessential English charm which you can still find in the centre of the city.
Kington, England's highest golf course, is aprox a 30 minute drive, A great course, unique and challenging in many ways. The views after the first few holes are spectacular. Mind the sheep on the fairways!
In the surrounding areas and for the sports enthusiasts there are a host of fantastic walks, cycling routes, fishing, and horse riding facilities to keep everyone entertained.
