Many migratory birds descend there during the winter months and the skeins of geese honking and clattering is one of the iconic Norfolk sights. The village is well served with amenities including chemist, a local shop, hairdressers and second hand book shop, perfect for browsing away a couple of hours! There is a Bistro style restaurant on the market square, you can take your own wine at no extra charge. For the children, Park Farm is a lovely place to visit, with hands on experiences including a Deer safari on a tractor to see the herd of Red Deer roaming about.
