Registration fees: The registration fee for the first car is included in the cleaning fee if you have a second car you will have to pay the additional $10/day + tax. The maximum is 2 cars. Please promptly register at the Club House and secure a parking pass. Hours are Monday through Friday 8-5 closed for lunch 12-1:30. You may also contact Security after hours until 11 p.m. If you don’t register and obtain a parking pass, you will be fined. This is a family neighborhood the speed limit is 10 mph enforced by radar!

Beach Disclosure: The beaches on Maui and Puamana occasionally change with the season. Most winters Puamana has a good beach occasionally a winter storm from the North with heavy rains and large waves will take the beach away. It returns in the summer when the seasonal south swells push it back in place along the shoreline. There is almost always a beach at Puamana Beach Park on the south side of the property and at Baby Beach on the North side of Lahaina Town.

Pros: the community is nice, in a quiet location and the home has a great view of the ocean from the back windows and master bedroom. You can also hear the ocean waves with windows open as you fall asleep which is nice. Cons: The host misled me before I spent 3K to stay at this location. I asked if there was a sandy beach at least within the community and they confirmed there was. They even have a photo that was more than likely taken a long time ago of a sandy community beach before it went away over months or years of erosion. However, upon my arrival, I discovered that there were nothing but rocks throughout the shoreline of the community. This was devastating to me and my family of five. I planned to spend most of my time with my 7 and 10 year old kids on the beach and let my year old play on the sand and go back inside to take naps as needed. The last thing I want to do is worry about changing diapers on a crowded beach, or lug a stroller and 100 pounds of beach and baby gear around an island during my vacation. But it came true because of this host's lies and deceit. Additionally the condition of the property itself was not up to par. There are just too many cosmetic and possibly structural blemishes in the town home to count. But it's obvious that this property has an owner that doesn't have the desire to spend 2 dollars on spackle and 5 dollars on paint to properly patch up the walls from years of scuff marks and hardware and nail holes. The master bathroom has a mildew smell to it, probably because the owner never got around to buying 4 dollars worth of grout to apply on the front of the shower to ensure moisture wasn't seeping into the subfloor of the bathroom. The televisions in the house are very small and I suppose they don't feel like spending an extra 10 dollars a month on cable boxes is worth the amenity it gives a renter to have a modern channel guide at his or her disposal. Not to mention it's 2017 and if you're paying 500 dollars a night, then there should be no reason the house you're renting doesn't have HDTV on at least a 50" screen. Watching grainy TV on a 21" screen from 25' away reminded me of how my family used to watch TV in 1985. Conclusion: I do not recommend this place for the price you're paying, there are plenty of other ocean front properties on Maui that are nicer and are in front of sandy beaches for the same price if not less than 500 night. I live in Vegas, and I'm familiar with the propensity to take as much money from a tourist as possible before they leave or even show up. Besides, once they have your money, they...
