Donald, was a good host.
The place is close to the LJ transit train station (Garfield Avenue), from where you could get to the New Port station and change train using the PATH station to NYC 33 St or WTC.
But is a bit secluded in a rather unusually quiet neighborhood, so if u r planning to come back late at night from NYC, alight at Grove station or New Port and Uber it or Cab it.
There is a supermarket just a few steps away from Donalds property where you will get just about any groceries. Try a chilled can of the GOYA COCONUT WATER WITH PULP. You'll fall in love with this product.
We felt very cold on our first day inside the room as the AC was too cold, Donald wasn't at home but he offered to lower it thru his phone and to make it warm. Nice of him.
This wasn't good for us as it was still cold, so the next day we requested for quilts, as there wasn't sufficient quilts or no extra pillow. The bedding were pretty basic. So he arranged for two quilts, which though weren't warm enough, helped us to an extent. All this could've been solved had the room had its own AC and not one centralized to all other rooms and the house, to which again the access was only with Donald.
David and Marcela, who were in another room apparently staying for long now we're warm people. But by the time you read this, they would've vacated the premise.
Altogether you could consider this place to stay at a room with decent amenities.
With a little more furnishing, individual control over AC and may be if the place had better night time connectivity I would give it 5stars..
Thank you Donald :)
