This house is in a great location for exploring the Grampians. Walking distance to the Brambuk Cultural Centre and a short drive into Halls Gap. We appreciated the electric blankets for warmth at night and the heater and fire place were effective to warm up the bigger living space. The house was very clean and functional for our group of 5 women who stayed for a walking weekend. Highly recommended with our only suggestion being the addition of a coffee pot for making freshly brewed coffee!

Peaceful place to stay, great wood fire that got the place super warm during the 1 degree nights. I was in shorts and t-shirt! An easy walk or ride to the main shops for breakfast. Great space but it is dated with many things quite worn. eg. couch springs pushing through, dishes were dirty, we had to rewash anything we wanted to use. Perhaps a dishwasher would be a worthy upgrade. Bed was very comfortable though. Overall we had a nice stay

The house is a great size and layout for a group of friends to get together for a weekend, we thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fire and relaxing with a couple of drinks. But, the decor is definitely tired, dated and in desperate need of a freshen up. A full set of matching wine/champagne/water glasses for start. There was someone else's ice cream left in the freezer, inside the kitchen cupboards was grubby and and there was no washing up liquid for the dishes.. oh and only one (old) tea towel for 6 people's dishes. The house was freezing when we arrived.! We then had to stack the firewood from the shed to the house.. Perhaps in the middle of winter the heater could be switched on prior to check in? Or at least have the fire set and ready to light.. it's a pleasant enough house but these were just a few small issues for us. Thank you for letting us stay.

We've just left Olga's amazing home this morning and we loved our 3 night stay. The pictures just don't do it justice and our time there was fantastic. We chose Olga's home as we're an Australian family but live overseas and we wanted our kids to enjoy some Aussie bushland and be close to wildlife. Olga's home certainly did not disappoint. It is in a serene location, nestled amongst gum trees and only a few minutes drive from the centre of Halls Gap. It was lovely to see kangaroos hopping around the house at various times of the day as well as numerous types of birds nestling in the trees and landing on the verandah as we were outside cooking a BBQ. Halls Gap itself has a large amount of wildlife around and you don't have to walk or drive far to see native animals roaming around the place. There's plenty in the area to keep you busy such as fantastic walking tracks, aboriginal cultural centres, waterfalls and beautiful scenery. The home itself was wonderful and we really enjoyed our time there. My wife's parents joined us for the stay and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The fireplace kept us nice and warm and the furnishings were all very comfortable. We unfortunately didn't get to meet in person but Olga was very easy to communicate with and a very gracious host. Halls Gap is an amazing place and you'll love staying in this home. Highly recommended!

Great place, clean and topped off nicely with a fantastic fireplace. The house stays incredibly warm even though the temperatures outside were near freezing. Plenty of features to make the stay extremely comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again when in the area.
