Te Anau has no public transport but it is always easy to find a car park. My place can easily hold a boat or campervan.
We are rual yet close to town,
We love to host and meet new people share our love for Fiordland.
Our family moved here in 2009 .
Before Te Anau we owned a large sheep and beef station in Central Otago farming for over 20 years.
We have embraced a change of life style where my husband John is the station manger for St Johns and a Paramedic, on his off days he still enjoys getting out in the bush for hunting and tramping,
John enjoys many a hour or so in his large workshop, or good chat,
My self I love looking after our new home, which is built with stunning views and set on 5 acres, with all our animals, landscaping, gardening,
Milking the house cow making cheese (when time allows), baking, Going jet boating with the family and tramping through our beautiful bush with John. I also work part time on the way to Milford sound,
Our son Nigel is in his last year of college here at Te Anau, Nigel enjoys meeting and chatting to guests. Nigel works after school for one of the building supply company’s, at the weekends he enjoys getting out in the bush, fishing, or building, designing in the work shop,
We look forward to meeting you all and shearing our knowledge of the area . All the things that make it an awesome place to visit - Hiking, Tramping Fishing, Photography, Unique wildlife, Biking, World Heritage Area, plus the greater south island
