My arrival was a nightmare. The worst experience in my life. I sent all details about my flight to Ali before my arrival and asked him if it's ok with him if any delays. I arrived around 7 45 pm as supposed to be, nobody met me. I was writing to Ali in Airbnb but nobody answered me. My cell phone was finally discharged, I was alone in a new city in full darkness and with no plan. Locals couldn't help a lot. Finally in a hour and a half (9 20 pm) Ali's business partner Sevag arrived. "Oh, I thought you have a late flight" he told. My room wasn't even ready, 3 or 4 boys lived there. "They'll pack their stuff and I'll clean it". I was waiting in the living room while they were pretty relaxingly packed their stuff. Finally I told to Sevag that I'm going to walk, he promised that in 40 min my room would be ready. I came in an hour and half. The room (different by the way, not that was listed in Airbnb) was absolutely dirty, I was in full frustration, finally I recieved a message from Airbnb that Sevag had some "structure problems and didn't prepare my room". Seriously??? Why did I paid hundred bucks and have no room in almost midnight after almost 4 hours of waiting??? The bathroom was dirty, too much water on a floor, no toilet paper. Finally Sevag arrived and cleaned my room (bathroom was dirty) and run away. And you know what? He took away my cell phone charger, my cell phone was almost discharged again (remember, I had no room, just some short waiting in the living room), so all my travel maps and instructions were almost gone. One more round of negotiations. Sevag needed 10 min to go away and more than 50 min to go back with my charger while I was waiting... When he finally brought it, I was already sleeping, too tired of this day, I had no charge to rent another room. Next few days were fine though (Venice is overbooked so I stayed here for 2 days). Ali came from vacation and was very kind, so I cannot say anything bad about him, location is wonderful, the apartment is good.
