This house is 77.68 square meters, has 2 cozy bedrooms, a beautiful wood dining area wide enough for everyone to comfortably share a meal, and a simple Japanese entrance room area perfect for large groups who need luggage space!
The newly renovated house has 2 separate bedrooms, one with flooring and the other with with traditional Japanese tatami flooring.
Separate bathroom and toilet on the first floor, and bedrooms on the second floor. Guests will see the beautiful sunset on a sunny day from the west bedroom and the shiny sunrise from the east bedroom.
Of course there are plenty of space to store your luggage and hang your clothes.
Perfect location for sightseeing and for exploring the Kyoto night life.
Easy walking from Nijojo-Mae Station located right in front of Nijo Castle (7 min walk) and Shijo Omiya station (10 min walk) located in central Kyoto.
Kitchen, Restroom, and bedroom is very beautiful equipped with modern kitchen amenities.

Q. Since I will have the trip on my own, is the location of your accommodation safe for a single lady?
A. Yes, the area where house is situated is very safe. It is an up-market neighborhood, and single women often walk around to and from their apartments, workplaces and the station.
I think you will find staying in this house in Kyoto to be convenient, relaxing and safe.
Q. Will there be other guests share the accommodation at a time?
A. During your stay you will be the only guest staying in this house. It is private and you will have your own door code, so you can come and go as you please.
Q. Is there anything we have to do for our check out?
A. No, we just kindly ask guests to leave the garbage INSIDE the house for the cleaning team to dispose instead of leaving them outside.
Please remember to take all of you personal belongings with you and close the door when stepping out.
Q. Is early check in or check out possible?
A. Typically, our check in is between 15:00-20:00PM and check out at 10:00AM. However, please message us if you have any special requests since there may be a chance that we can work a schedule around it : )
Q. Can we drop off our luggage before our 15:00PM check in time?
A. Please message us for this special request.
Q. Can we send luggage to the house?
A. Under very specific conditions, this is possible. Japan's luggage delivery is very precise, and so we ask guests sending luggage to the house to set up the luggage arrival time/date to be the day after check in to be present for the luggage to be received by guests since we don't want to risk guests to lose their luggage. Please ask us for more details if you are planning on sending luggage to the house.
Q. We have a small child that won't be needing separate bedding. Can they stay for free?
A. If your child will require a separate bedding and separate towels, please count them in the number of guests staying. If they will be sharing bedding and towels, he/she is welcomed to stay free of charge.
CHECK IN TIME is from 15:00PM-20:00PM. Please talk to us first if you plan on arriving later or earlier.
CHECK OUT is at 10:00AM sharp.
There is absolutely NO SMOKING ALLOWED in the house or outside near the house. If you are smoking, please step out to the main road and smoke quietly there. Please be responsible for disposing your cigarette and DO NOT LITTER.
Please do NOT leave garbage outside the house at any time. If you need garbage disposed, please leave them near the front door (inside) the house and email us for a pick up service by 15:00PM.
Please note that there are no car parking or bicycle parking space in this house. If you are coming by car or have rented a bicycle, we kindly ask that you use the closest public coin parking nearby.
Please note that there will be an extra person charge of 3,000JPY for every **extra futon/bed** used during a guest’s stay.
