Our experience with Christine begun with a lot of drama. The Westin Hotel she was checking out of was 2 corners away from my loft, Old Montreal is a grid, nothing like any european city. My Co-Host had to guide her through the city for 25 minutes over the phone even if she only had a 5 minute walk to do. Unfortunatly the group that checked ou the loft that day trashed it and lost our keys, we have an emergency set a block away for her ready. She got lost again... These instructions were followed succesfully by many drunk guests at 3am in the morning without any support. Not Christine. We were managing a full blown crisis and she was not even checked in. From there there was nothing we could do to please her, yes there was damage (fixed) done to the loft but we are not a hotel and can’t have handyman there next hour after we find out. When my co-host called and told me Christine’s story I thought that for but us and her it would be better if she checked in a hotel. This place is dedicated to airbnb and I’d rather have the place hosting people but since we couldn’t accomodate her properly it was the best solution to have her go to a hotel where she can have staff on shift to take care of her.
