We had a great time staying in Jacqueline's home mid-August. The place was beautiful, and somewhat secluded (which is what we were looking for). We felt like we had our privacy, which is sometimes lost renting vacation homes. There was enough cutlery, and other essentials, where we didn't have to buy much from the stores (which were only about 20 minutes away). We enjoyed swimming and fishing in the lake. The porch is beautiful and we spent a lot of time relaxing and lounging, taking in the scenery. We didn't venture much out of the house, besides hiking (Salt Springs Park) and errands. We don't have any complaints. We had our 3 year old with us, and he enjoyed the time immensely. Just for awareness for other families, there were a lot of beautiful, antique-looking pieces on display. It wasn't a problem for our little one, but could be if you have younger, or a few kids in the same house. Also, in order to get into the lake, you have to go through the mud. Again, not really a problem for us (our 3 year old loves "muddy puddles") but could be for others. Thanks again for an amazing time!

We loved Hemlock Hollow. The cabin is very clean, cozy and comfortable, yet very spacious. It has everything you could need from a crockpot to a fishing rod. The beds are comfortable and having linens provided is a plus. Chairs on the dock make it a fun place to hangout in the sun or under the moon. We were only there a few days but we hope to be back soon for a longer stay. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax!

Jacqueline's lake house was a quiet and secluded space. The outdoor space including the deck, dock and yard were wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for. Inside the house, it was challenging to know where to set our belongings down. There were knick knacks on a majority of the surfaces. The refrigerator still had quite a bit of food in it. We had 5 people and a weekend's worth of food. We had to use coolers that we brought to supplement the fridge.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was very clean and cozy, although we spent the majority of our time relaxing on the porch, what a lovely retreat. We also enjoyed looking at all the knic-knacs and especially loved "Albert", the moose, always keeping a watchful eye!!! We will return!! Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay! The house is very spacious with a very cozy feel to it. Having all of the linens provided was wonderful. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch with view of the private lake every morning and evening. Watching the assortment of birds on the bird feeder was nice while drinking my coffee each morning. The humming birds just wouldn't let me video them lol. During the day we loved lounging on the dock and using the boat and kayak. She has a fire pit on the lawn near the water and a chimnea on the dock, we enjoyed both. Being the wanderer I am, I was able to meet some of the neighbors and they were very friendly. Our stay was during 4th of July so we and the neighbors lit off fireworks over the lake, that was pretty awesome. We are from Jersey and they don't allow that. Keep in mind there isn't much to do in the local area. We did find Salt Springs State Park which is located 35 mins away.... you definitely want to check it out during your stay. A short hike uphill and you are at the waterfall which you can walk into. If you are looking for a peaceful get away Hemlock Hollow is the way to go!! We will definitely recommend it to family and friends! Oh and Jacqueline is a sweet heart that is willing to answer any questions you may have. Both her and her daughter Alexis were great and very accomodating. Thanks for everything!!
