We loved staying at Les and Jenny's farm. They have a welcoming and comfy home, beautiful sunset views and lots of cute animals including cows, chickens, alpacas and cats. They are 5 minutes from an awesome hike up to the top of Snake Mountain and are 20 minutes away from Middlebury which is an awesome town to explore. They made great suggestions about what to do in the area and also gave us a tour of their homestead. A personal favorite of mine was meeting Little Guy the Alpaca and letting me get close to him. The breakfast was great as well! Les and Jenny were such friendly hosts and I would love to stay here again!

Perfect place to stay if you want to be in the country with a friendly family. The ride to Middlebury was beautiful and I had a chance to go to the bakery, museum and watch a free movie on campus. I also enjoyed a nordic ski at nearby Rikert where I cheered on my son who was racing that weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by an alpaca by the back door when I was putting my bag in the car. What a cute face. :)

Les and Jenny are very nice and welcoming. It's a very casual scene, no pressure, very generous spirited people. The farm is a little (just a little) off the beaten path. Don't expect public transportation or short walk to the store. If these are not concerns, you'll have a lovely stay! Easy to get to Middlebury, or cross over the lake into NY, close to the Adirondacks. Shower/bathroom was great, bed was comfortable, nice and quiet. They do have cats (who are well behaved and well taken care of) but just be aware of that for allergy reasons.

My wife, Jenny, and I are mid 50s and love sharing our home and farm with others. We love our animals, seasons in VT, our church: Grace Baptist, our lovely daughters: Gracie, 25, married to Jaron, both in the Air Force in Oklahoma City, and Olivia, 21, a Senior at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida, studying nursing. We love visiting, adventuring, reading and watching movies about historical events and sites.
