Marina and her husband, Arsen, were very gracious hosts. Upon check-in, Arsen was available to orient me to the house and all of its facilities. I was in NYC/ Staten Island for business reasons, and their home and its location fit my needs perfectly. While most of my business was on Staten Island, I was a 20 minute walk from the ( free )Staten Island ferry , which takes you to lower Manhattan ( local bus transportation was also available but I chose to walk). Because of my business schedule and the hosts' business schedule, I only saw them on my first night and on my last night ( late at night). The bed was comfortable and I had a bathroom to myself. Their home is in a residential ( but still city) neighborhood, and the street noise was at a minimum. Safe street parking was available right outside their house. In fact, once I parked my car, I did not move it for 4 days. Although a full kitchen and living room area was available for me to use, I personally did not need it. The entire house has been recently remodeled, and is VERY CLEAN ! There is a separate exterior door in the bedroom, which opens into the garden area and back of house outside; however, I used the front door most of the time. There are steep steps to get into the house from the street level, and the bathtub is a rather high step to get in and out of the shower stall. This was not a problem for me, but it may be an issue for anybody who has difficulty walking or lifting their legs high up. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay, for one person , or, two persons who are willing to share a double bed. This was my first time staying at an airbnb. Mr. J. Clark, York, PA.
