We rented this place for a family of 10 and had a wonderful time there. It's a great size and great location for where we needed to be. Nan and his wife were always available if we needed something as well. I highly recommend this place for others as well!

Ever dreamed of living in an ant farm? This might be the place for you. For anyone else, pack some Raid. The owners recently bought this house as an Airbnb investment property, have never lived in it and we were one of their first renters. So there were a lot of kinks to work out…

It's a pity to see your comments. I took a look for all messages I had contact with you and your wife. First of all, when you checked in, there was no microwave oven, but we sent it to you second days after you required it. Also you said you need a coffee machine. I bought a new one for you. You know, the coffee machine is not necessary. Regarding the back yard grass, When you told us the grass was too high we asked the gardener come to clear back yard the next day, paying extra by ourselves. From March 24th to June 18th, first time,your wife mentioned three questions on May 7th, three questions: the refrigerator, the dishwasher and the air conditioner. My wife and I went to meet your wife in May 9th. Your wife said the refrigerator is good now,and the dishwasher can handle by herself. Air conditioning, I tested all the vents. They were working. Your wife saw it. Nothing more. In these three months, you have never said that there is no light on the first floor bedroom, the towel pole is bad, ants..... In June 18th, you started bringing up ants. Our attitude was that we could find companies to kill ants, and be responsible for all the expenses. To be safe, (you have three young children), if you need to leave the room for 2 days, we can pay for all the hotel charges. June 30th (Friday) your wife told me she contact the pest control company which I provide to her, she told us she couldn't leave the house for 2 days, because she needs the kitchen and said your mother offered her a security company to kill ants, and she would made an appointment with the ant killing company, would let us know the cost the next Monday, We just waiting for the cost and we said to your wife we can pay for it.Everything seems to be going well. In July 3rd, your wife suddenly sent text messages to me saying that she couldn't stay in a hotel without a kitchen for two days, so that I would compensate for the ants' problem and say you or AIRBNB would send me an email. A week went by and I didn't get any mail or text from anyone. In July 9th, I received your wife's message again about ants. My wife and I will meet your wife again. Your wife says: " She want to get $1000 return because of ant air-condition ". We contacted AIRBNB to report the situation when we back home. AIRBNB reminded us not allow to have money with guests in private, we want to observe the AIRBNB discipline. That is why we cannot pay you the refund back. Finally, I would like to say: what you were required at the beginning time; we tried our best to cooperated and took care of everything within 3 days. all other problems you notify us during the last month, and you rent here is four month long of your rental. I think you should tell us as early as you can, and not the last two weeks and ask for cash back at the same time.
