In my travels to Spain during the San Fermin festival, this place was perfect! Walking distance to the train station, 12 minute walking distance to the party environment, but distant enough to where you can have a peaceful night from all the crazy noise. Pilar is very kind woman, and she will inform you in what needs to be experience in her lovely city of Pamplona.

Pilar was amazing, I was traveling alone and had no expectations for what I would see or do while in Pamplona. Pilar showed me around the areas where the locals general stay, and really made me feel welcome, and introduced me to some incredible people. A trip to Northern Spain isn't complete without visiting Pilar.

Thank you Jeremy. Tell me the time you will arrive to Sansebastian. Where are you ataying? Maybe you can come to Pamplona, and don´t worry about your belongings, here they are safe. I don´t know yet if I will go to Sansebastian today, or not and what time. Tell me about your plans and I will try to adapt to them.

It was so nice staying with Pilar! She showed us all the good places to eat and helped us plan out our days for the festival of San Fermin! She also even helped wash the sangria stains out of my clothes! Thanks Pilar!

Pilar was great!!! She was very helpful during the San Fermin Festival. A little bit of a walk to the town center but not too bad at the same time. I highly recommend her!!

If you're looking for a place to stay for San Fermin, stop searching right now because you've found it. Go to airbnb and contact Pilar for a room and she will do everything she can to accommodate you. She's got a lovely flat that has 6 different rooms that can host two visitors each. It's got two different bathrooms, both clean and well supplied, and she gives every guest towels. The rooms are large and have comfortable beds and great furnishings, including closets, drawers, and desks if space is available. The wifi is very fast and reliable, the kitchen is large, you can use the refrigerator, and the flat has great views from the fourth floor of Av. Marcelo Celayeta. It's a 10 minute walk into the city, which means you'll get great quiet sleep and avoid expensive prices at nearby restaurants. There's also a convenience store, kebab restaurant, and ATM right outside of her door. Pilar is the type of host that will go out of her way to help you. Whether she's recommending you the best local restaurants and bars, making sandwiches for you to take into the city, helping you with your laundry, buying your tickets in advance for the bullfight, teaching you how to make a bucket of sangria, driving you to the bus or train station, taking you out to dinner with her and her friends, or clearing up a sofa for you to sleep on because you needed a place to sleep at 2:00am, she will bend over backwards to make sure your stay in Pamplona is an incredible one. Staying with Pilar is also a cultural immersion, so you will leave with a true sense of what living in Pamplona is like. She'll introduce you to traditional Basque cuisine and customs and will broaden your horizons. Her prices are reasonable by San Fermin standards, and she's a very flexible host. The only way you'll have a bad time with Pilar is if you've come to Pamplona to have a bad time. I'm a university student in Spain writing for a travel guide. I've been in the northern part of the country for six weeks and have stayed with dozens of airbnb hosts. Pilar has been hands down the best host I've ever had. She was super flexible with payment because I had some issues with my bank, and allowed my brother and I to stay for 3 days of San Fermin and me to stay alone for a few days after that. Bonus, she's got a beautiful golden retriever who's exceptionally friendly and fun. Ultimately, you'd really be doing yourself a disservice by staying anywhere else for San Fermin. Pilar is friendly, welcoming, understanding, flexible, funny, intelligent, generous, and cultured. Staying with Pilar for San Fermin guarantees you friends, learning, and a hell of a lot of fun.

My brother and I had a fantastic time staying with Pilar for the San Fermin festival. Her apartment is in a great location near the parks and a nice 10 minute walk to the city center. She provide us with everything we needed and more! Recommending restaurants, things to do, and even was nice enough to take us out one night with her friends! We were also lucky enough to bond with some fellow travelers also staying with Pilar for the San Fermin festival which made the experience even that much better. If I'm ever in Pamplona again, I will be asking to stay with Pilar again! Thank you, John and Michael.

Pilar was helpful and the place was very well located, spacious and clean. She was a bit all over the place and sometimes slow to respond but overall nice. Pilar was helpful in figuring out our travel and how to get there from San Sebastian.
