The elegant "Paris on Fitz" studio mansion apartment is simply outstanding in terms of interior design, comfort and value for money. It is luxurious and convenient accommodation for the business or leisure traveller.
The spacious newly renovated 50 square metre studio is located on the ground floor of a magnificent 1890's Victorian Gold Rush Era mansion. The moment you step through the front gate into the grand courtyard you have entered another time.

Welcome to the luxury “Paris on Fitz” apartment. It is one of four magnificent apartments in an 1890's building known as "Delphine" in St Kilda. The building is located in famous Fitzroy Street, the wonderful beach side suburb with many cafe's, bars and restaurants.
My apartment has 14 ft. ceilings with decor, polished floor boards and a super comfortable queen size leather sofa-bed. Open plan living and dining area.
Beautiful daylight, west facing windows that lets the sun stream in all afternoon.
My apartment is a great choice for a solo traveller, a mature couple or someone on extended business. This fully equipped and furnished luxurious apartment is ready to go with:

You won't be sharing this apartment with your host or anyone else during your stay. The main entrance to the building is available to only 4 apartments. My family live in the upstairs section of the building in two adjoining apartments. I am nearly always available to help with advice and if any problems I am just a phone call away at any time. My husband or myself will meet guests at the property to exchange keys.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CHECK IN/ CHECK OUT
My husband or myself will meet you at the apartment, at a time to be confirmed prior to arrival. Check in time is between 2:00PM and 6:00PM and check out time is 10:00AM.
CLEANING AND LINEN
The property is set up with a "starter kit" of cleaning products and include linen/towels and a fully equipped kitchen. Please note that the apartment should be left in a reasonable manner (for example dishes & cookware should be washed and put away) or you may be charged for extra cleaning.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
This property is presented to the highest standard and we want "Paris on Fitz" to stay this way. A $ 500 security deposit is held with Airbnb to cover any additional cleaning, excessive power use, damage or loss of equipment and accessories in the apartment. In the event of a claim for additional charges such as extra cleaning, breakages or damage to the property, we are authorised to inform Airbnb of the costs.
If damages occur and/or the terms and conditions are breached, then the you may be asked to leave.
ELECTRICITY
The rental amount includes the reasonable consumption of electricity and gas during your stay. In the interests of the environment please ensure lights and air conditioning is switched off when leaving the premises. We reserve the right to deduct excessive use of energy from the security deposit.
KEYS
Keys to your property can be collected at the property on arrival, time to be arranged. Should keys be lost a replacement fee of up to $250.00 is applicable.
QUIET ENJOYMENT
The apartment is available for your enjoyment however please be considerate of your neighbours in the four adjacent apartments. Please be aware that my family live in the upstairs area of the building. In the event that you make unreasonable noise or behave in an inappropriate way, your stay maybe be terminated immediately and the balance of your accommodation tariff will be forfeited. Please note there is a strict "No Party" policy for this property and no more than two people are allowed to stay and must be registered guests.
SMOKING
This apartment and the entire building is Non-Smoking. An additional cleaning/deodorising fee of $200 will apply for smoking in the apartment.
WIFI BROADBAND
A high speed wireless broadband service is available on request for use with your lap top or mobile device ($5 per day) Weekly up/download limit of 15GB. This service is ideal for email and web-browsing. Please ensure you request this service at the time of making your booking.
Please Note: Download of large files, video or music may exceed up/download limits resulting in excess usage charges. Excess usage is charged at $ 5 per 15 Gb.

This location is ideal to enjoy the laid-back beach vibe of St. Kilda, which seems to alternate between quiet weekdays and lively weekend nights. Excellent position for public transport. Easy Skybus access from the airport, and trams are steps away to whisk you into the central business district or to any number of the inner suburbs/neighborhoods. Staying here gave me the "live like a local" month I came here for. Fitzroy Street is quite busy at times, but nothing out of the ordinary for anyone used to an urban environment. I happened to be here during the summer months, and enjoyed the fact that twice there were large, local festivals that took over the street right outside. It made for an interesting, one-of-a-kind experience. The space is cozy, but well-appointed for a short or long stay. I was able to comfortably cook many of my meals in the kitchen with ease, and enjoyed en suite laundry as well. It is ideal for either a single person or a couple at most. Even after a month, I felt comfortable and at home. Note that this rental offers a sofa bed or a futon sofa as sleeping accommodation. I had no problem with sleep or comfort, but do consider this fact, and your length of stay, so as not to be surprised upon arrival. I also enjoyed the hospitality of Marnie the Dalmatian who spent her days napping in the front garden. She was a sweet dog, and always got up to greet me when I came through the gate. Such a hostess!

Lesley's apartment is fantastic. In a great location, and perfectly equipped with all the modern amenities required for a comfortable stay. Lesley is a wonderful host - helpful, accommodating, and ensures everything needed for a great stay is provided. We will absolutely be booking any of Lesley's listings again. Greetings from Melbourne, St Kilda!
My name is "L" and I own two beautiful properties within the "Delphine" building in St Kilda. My husband owns two himself! I have "unbridled enthusiasm" for renovating and styling interiors. This apartment along with three others in the building of five have been beautifully restored by my husband. I love gardening and spend a great deal of time on site to maintain the "lush" appearance of the flora.
My family reside in two of the apartments at the building along with our beloved pets who possess plenty of character. We like to travel once a year and are happy to rent our own private apartments at these times.
My family have taken extended trips to Florence, Italy and Buenos Aires, Argentina and of course stayed in beautiful airbnb accommodation. We are lucky to live in St Kilda as it is always vibrant and diverse in terms of eating out and enjoying sporting activities.
We will make you very welcome at any one of our four apartments as we know how important it is to feel like you have "a home away from home".
