My place is in a quiet residential street, close to the city centre, 2 minutes walk to the vibrant cafes, bars, restaurants and other venues that help to make the Highland Capital such an exciting city to visit. All transport links are accessible. Train and bus stations are less than a 7 minute walk from the flat. Inverness has a mountain backdrop with a gorgeous river and river walks at its centre. The flat is ideal for visiting couples, mini breaks, solo adventures and business travellers.
As you enter the tenement building from the street you go through a red entrance door, motion sensors will light up the landings and stairs as you progress inwards. The flat is one level up. Inside the front door, of the flat, to the left, you have a double sized bedroom, an iron/ironing board and hair dryer are provided. Straight ahead (from the front door), you have the shower room and W.C. To the right, there is a lounge with comfortable couch, glass dinning table with stools. There is a 50" wall mounted 'smart' TV. Off the lounge there is a fully fitted self catering kitchen.
Ask about the optional 'fold away' camp bed. Maximum of 2 guests in the flat ensures the flat is comfortable and your stay is as enjoyable as intended.
Disponible para huéspedes
The flat is wholly accessible to guests. There are some locked cupboards but these are only for the storage of domestic cleaning items.
Atención a los huéspedes
I am happy, to help try, make your stay as you wish. If I can help with local knowledge by phone or text or if you would like to arrange a local tour. I have been a tourist coach driver in the highlands for over 10 years, I now drive for a taxi company and would be happy to organise 1/2 day or full day tours as your driver, at your request. I am also able to offer a discounted taxi service for business/ leisure users who are booked into the flat.
Otros aspectos destacables
There is not a specifically designated parking space for the flat.
Car parking directly outside the flat is 'free' between the hours of 6pm and 8am, however between 8am and 6pm parking is restricted to permit holders only. If you are planning to stay 3+ nights, a parking permit can be supplied for the duration of your stay. There are plenty of cheep car parking around the locality and finding somewhere close by should never be a problem. The best parking is within a carpark (The Raining Stairs Carpark on Hill Place) less than a minute from the flat, it is 'free' except between the hours of 8am and 6pm. If parking meter is 'fed' any time after 6pm then the allotted parking hours do not begin until 8am the following morning.
Waste and recycling.
If you have booked the flat for one night any waste and recycling will be managed by the domestic staff at the end of your stay. If you do wish to discard your own rubbish please use the large wheeled bins at the rear of the building. Please do not use the green bin outside the front door of the building, as this is for the sole use of my downstairs neighbour. Thank you.
If you have booked the flat for more than one night, then the flat is your private space for the duration of your stay (there is no access scheduled for cleaning, replenishing or other services. If any of these issues are required please text or phone as needed) any waste and recycling you have, should be disposed of using the large wheeled bins at the rear of the building. Please do not use the green bin at the front of the building as this is for the sole use of my downstairs neighbour. Thank you
