Welcome to Old Town! Walking distance from the Magnificent Mile, this area is perfect for tourists who want a taste of real Chicago. You're right next to restaurants, grocery stores, fitness centers, comedy clubs, theatres, and boutiques, and you can hop over to North Avenue beach if you'd like. This beautiful and safe neighborhood is centrally located, and you’ll love my apartment because of its high ceilings, coziness, location, and the vintage charm. The two extra bedrooms are yours to enjoy!
Old Town is amazing, and this apartment is right in the heart of it. Gaslight Court is a historic site featured in several tours, and you get to be a part of it! This is not a cold and sterile home; instead, you get to live in an apartment filled with lovely plants and art I've collected over the course of my travels. Guests also get to enjoy a large private deck overlooking Wells Street.

Make yourself at home! Guests are more than welcome to use and hang out in all spaces other than my bedroom. I'll give you keys and some maps of the neighborhood, so hopefully you'l start feeling like a local within a day!

There is a restaurant downstairs, so inside noise isn't much of a problem, but people put on the deck should be quiet after 10pm. I've stocked the pantry with plenty of food, so guests are welcome to use whatever they'd like so their stay would be as comfortable as possible.
Hi there! I'm a high school literature teacher who has spent her life traveling the world. I speak English, Lithuanian, and Spanish and am working hard to learn French, so I look forward to some lovely conversations with my guests! I spend my time going to plays and comedy shows, supporting the local music scene, and grading a LOT of essays. If you stay with me, I'll cater to whatever environment you want. I can be visible or invisible; it's up to you.
I live by the motto, "If you die, it's a tragedy; if you live, it's a story," which means I love collecting the stories of my guests. I welcome you to my home and hope Chicago fills your life with new stories to tell!
