15mins away from the city palace is this room with its 2 queen-sized four poster beds and a marble bathroom with a bathtub and a walk-in shower. The common areas include a great sitout, a gazebo, a plunge pool, and access to the gardens, swimming pool and facilities of the premises.
The place is great for travellers preferring a quiet stay and some rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The twin room is perfect for those preferring a little quiet and sanctuary while on their adventure through India. The room is comfortable with two four-poster queen sized beds, a desk to write letters or emails from, a balcony to gaze out at the city palace and the hills from, and a marble bathroom appointed with a bathtub and a shower.
The room then leads you out to the common landing area with a small library from which the staircase leads you down to an outdoor covered sitting area and a plunge pool. There is a door behind the pool that takes you into a garden.
On the main premises, I have a great library for bibliophiles, a dining room serving fresh food, a pool and some great sitting areas including a drawing room - a place of peace and tranquility away from the bustle of the city.

I came to Udaipur back in the 1970s and fell for the beauty of the Venice of the East - with its lakes, mountains and people. Eventually, I decided to stay here and open up my place so that friends, family and enthusiasts could also soak in this beauty.
The natural beauty of the Aravallis and the lakes drew me here and I came with my books and all that I needed to live with. I love reading and some of my favourite authors include Somerset Maughan and Robbert Goddard, and my interest meanders towards biographies.
I'd love to see you here and it will be nice to chat over everything and anything as the sun sets over the mountains behind. See you soon!
